I'm totally insane. This morning I actually went back to the strip I'd just posted and did some pixel by pixel corrections to clarify art details that got muddled in the translation from 300 dpi to 72.

I realized way back when I started drawing my comic in 2002 that if I was a perfectionist about the art I'd never get off the ground. I made it a policy not to go back and correct things (other than spelling). Even now, I can either spend the time needed to make each strip perfect, or I can update three times a week.

Well, you can be obsessed with getting the image right and completely freaked out at the thought of missing a deadline. I'd probably stop in the middle of sex to go update my page on time ;o) (Don't tell my husband I said that)
That why when I work on my comic I can't spend more than two nights on one strip at the most, while working on fanart with no stressful deadline turns into an all week thing.

Yes, having no deadline, or a very far off deadline, changes everything. I think I once spent about a month carefully tweaking a Christmas-present-picture for somebody until I got it right.

Not really a perfectionist. Sometimes right after I uploaded a new comic I see "Damn! I wanted to do this and that but forgot" So I edit it again until its right ^^;
But I wouldnt go back and redraw all pages or put in new fonts. It's more interesting if you leave such "faults" how they are. Then people can see how you improved artwise and other stuff. Heck, I myself even like to look at old art and compare them to new ones and go "MAN, I got a lot better."
