Hmmm. Well, currently, comicgenesis' siteademin page says I get 427 hits on an average daily, ranging between 200 and 600. But site meter says I get 226 hits daily, and 291 pages read on average a day. So your guess is as good as mine.
I do it for me, currently, which is the best thing. But it is encouraging, by either standard, that my hits are going up.---Al

Perhaps I should run an "Elvenass" cornstalker newsbox, see how much that drives up my visits.
Caught in the headlamp glare of your own blinding vanity/Mesmerised by the stare of your shallow personality
Gorging the junk food of flattery you drag your fat ego around/Everyone floored by the battering you give to whoever's around
Oh Narcissus you petulant child admiring yourself in the curve of my eyes/Oh Narcissus you angel beguiled unsated by self you do nothing but die

I knew I should've emphasized boobs in my newsbox instead of face. Crap, crap, crap.

I'm at about 400-something readers right now. On update days I scrape the bottom of the 500 mark, on non-update days I'm down around 400, and on weekends I'm in the mid-300s.

I've been so stressed out about work and traveling lately that I just haven't been thinking about my comic. When I get back from hiatus I'm going to make a concerted effort to bring my readership up. I'm coveting that position on the high end (which, for CG, seems to be 2-3,000 readers, like Komi said).

I plan to finally do that whole advertising thing in mid to late July. I'm gonna spend some bucks and hope for the best on my first try.

According to siteadmin, I get about 100 visits per day. Most of them are suckered into visiting my all-of-six-pages comic through links from people I collaborate with on "Golden". Gonna start actively promoting it (i.e. adding to lists, etc.) after the 20- or 30-comic mark, I think.

well when i was talking about my page i was talking about visits, if we were to talk about these so called meaningless "hits" it would have been in the 140,000 range, but those are meaningless.

I think we're tall more or less talking about the same things, so our use of the word "hits" is fine since every knows what everyone else is talking about.

I have a little more than 200 readers, and hopefully at the end of this month, it'll be more around 250. Growth is nice.

Well, I'm only on my fourth month and my visits have been steadily increasing since the comic started. At the moment I'm getting daily average visits around the 110 mark. That's a dramatic increase on last month. I think it helps being registered on the comic lists, and it probably doesn't hurt that so far I'm number 4 and rising on the Webcomic Battle's hall of fame.

Wow...people actually get hits from my link of the two weeks thing? :o

I get about the same as Escushion. Right now I'm sitting at about an average 113 a day. That's not bad considering all the trouble I've had in real life affecting my updating.

Sorcery 101 has just under 3000 readers.

White Hydra has lost much of its fan base, but I currently get 656 unique viewers per day, which isn't so bad I guess.
Be nice to get back to a high similar to shortly before I left Keenspace hosting, but unfortunately I lack the advertising power of the box.

Well, typically, I get between 50-70 visitors a day, and it's been like that for months. Wish it was more, but of course it isn't.

My other comic, on the other hand, gets around twenty-five readers max, depending on when it updates.

Maybe I can mention my 'captive' audience. I may be back down around 70 odd a day at the moment...but when school's back during the four terms, then there's another 15 to 20 kids in the room who fairly regularly read it.

Unfortunately, that doesn't register on the internet because they're printed in books on the reading shelf, but they whinge a bit lately because I haven't printed the newer ones out for them.

Anyway, yeah, a small number still for two years, but there's no way I'm reverting to boobs and bums to bring the readers in. :)

Still looking for that effective place to advertise though...I've rarely received all that much traffic from the regular places. Oh...and I'm not spending $150 on advertising like that other bloke up there...I don't like spending that on my car! ;)
