Yay!

By the by, I've got a 500gb portable hd filled with anime. Ranma, Tylor & ovas, bleach, azumanga, read or die, all kinds of stuff. I can bring that if anyone wants.

Why are you vanishing after the cookout? :(

And Mono now... you might be over it in time... :-?

he's correct, you've still got three weeks which is usually sufficient for getting over mono if you take care of yourself and treat it.

So... about 100lbs of meat, some steaks, a bunch of hot dogs... fifty two-liters... hm. Good thing we're renting that second refrigerator and the deep freezer.

That should hopefully hold over 40 people and the two of us.

FYI: Brock and Dave Against the Machine are coming too, hence the new total of 40.

I was actually starting to think of renting a car. Apparently 21-24 can rent them now. Anyone else heard of this? Also, anyone want to split a room for saturday after the party? Probably a little late for that, but most the stuff I've done so far is.

I'd offer to let you room with us, but Vort, Tim and I are already sharing a room. I guess we could squeeze you in if it's okay with them :-?

I'm not a vegetarian, but I plan to be providing some veggie food on Saturday, Kris. Thinking of a dip feast -- hummus, guacamole, beans, salsa, etc. Just because it'll be quick and easy and require almost zero setup.

I'm sure people will grill veggieburgers if you want to get some. :)

I too read this as meatless panties, and flashbacked to the punchline about the woman trying to restore her virginity with a piece of raw liver, and then just squinched my eyes shut until the image went away.

Yes, I've said all along I would be delighted to cook vegetarian foods, but you must bring them!

Gah, all the rent a car places want $100 for a day and a half. Nevermind on that.

I plan on bringing cheese. That's vegetarian, and possibly some meat as well, for those of who are normal ;)

Brock PM'ed me, and it's OK by me, so he's got a place to stay.

I had mentioned renting a car before (I think), and if current transportation resources are strained, I still may be willing to chip in with someone. And I'm plenty old enough to rent one, so that's not an issue.

All right, that's cool. How much is that for each of us now?
