I know it well. Have an old VHS copy of it (that was once worth $80 on EBAY) and now I have the special edition DVD. Also put together my own version of the Soundtrack.

Big fan of the movie since it came out in theatres!

(Because I'm old)
I'm a tad too young for when it was in theaters but I have a tape about as old as me and the SEDVD and most of the songs I could find from it :) and fan art....heck it's the reason I draw...

Not so. That one's all over the place. Old St Paul's Church is the one that sounded like it could be the original to me.

Edit: You're right. Nevertheless, I've heard of inscribed in other places as well.

I'm sure it has - it's a good quote!

The one about adventure is kinda misattributed, too . . . I don't know if it has an official source, but it's certainly a proverb that's been around in one form or another for far longer than two years.

Dynasty Warriors

Post by Noman »

"I will smite you with my sword of justice!" -- Ma Chao from Dynasty Warriors 4 issuing a challenge. Ma Chao fights with a spear.

Not a quote, but something equally amusing to me about Dynasty Warriors: Xiahou Dun in the Novel "Romance of the Three Kingdoms" loses his eye in a battle, but continues to fight. In DW4, Xiahou Dun is always pictured with his eye patch, but they still show him "losing the eye" in the famous battle... and he still has the eyepatch on.
