that would be AMAZING. Rosa rocks. I would be very interested in going, and I can supply the entire season of firefly (proud owner, right here). Lets please not make it mid-april (when alex jess and I are off at states).

What's Firefly? Kevin refuses to elaborate about it other than the fact thats its Sci-Fi.
I'm guessing this marathon is going to be a sitting-in-a-couch-and-watching-movies-all-day-then-coming-home-at-5 AM-and-being-yelled-at-by-parents thingie like the SW one?

Cowboys in space! When they aren't doing outlaw jobs in their spaceship they ride horses, shoot winchesters, and curse in chinese. Its funny and incredibly creative. No cliches in sight.Eternal Flames wrote:What's Firefly? Kevin refuses to elaborate about it other than the fact thats its Sci-Fi.

I say we do it during spring break. We should deffinatly watch all 14 episodes of Firefly (thats 10.5 hours). The way I remember it most people didn't want to stay for the whole 15 hour star wars deal, so I dunno if we want to tack another 2 hours onto the end. It still wouldn't be that bad though. I'm hardcore enough
As of right now, we have:
Me
Nina
Chris
Mere
Alex
Rosa
Kevin
Mauricio
Caroline
Brian
I'm sure that John would come if we asked him, Jess and Cathryn would probably come. It would make my day if we somehow convinced Charlotte to come!
That makes 14... Kev, how many people can we reasonably jam into your TV room (we could get some bean bags or something for the floor)?

Not sure if we can fit 15+ people all into my living room, but we can give it a shot. I have (comfortable) room for like, 9-10, and we could just take some of the couches I have in the front and put them in the back or something.
10.5 hours.
14 episodes.
15+ very sweaty, smelly, nerdy teenagers.
o.o

Sounds awesome to me, dude. I'm sure that not everyone will go (Charlotte) and I think we should invite everyone. This is a public forum after all... people will be upset if we glide over them in the name of this "comfort." So we can expect about 12, most of whom wont stay the whole time.
Does anybody know what the dates for spring break are?

Well, we have church on Sundays, 11 am-1:30 pm, and then when we get back we have about 1.5 hours before basketball, at 3 pm-7 pm. Dinner 7 pm-8 pm. Sleep at 11 pm. MAX free time on Sundays: 5 hours (if we're lucky)
So, unless we can convince our parents to let us skip church (might or might not be allowed) and skip basketball, there's no time in the Tan's Sunday plan. I'd say we wait for Spring Break.

I added a poll to the topic to see what people think about the data for the marathon. PLEASE VOTE IF YOU PLAN ON ATTENDING. Kev, MYSELF. and Alex have veto power because its kev's house and alex's birthday and me because im the shit. If there isnt a veto I guess we should go with whichever option gets the most votes.
