Abstinence only education does not work.

Even more amusing, it leads to girls who will do oral and anal and claim they are 'still virgins'.
It's rather obvious to me then that these kids do not understand the true meaning of abstinence. It means abstaining from all types of sexual activity, perhaps even cybersex (though to be honest, if you're gonna do it, that's the safest way... though it's also the least physical and probably not as satisfying).

I'm a 23-year-old virgin. I made a vow not to have sex, of any kind, until I'm married. I am not convinced that kids are "gonna do it anyway", because I didn't, despite how horny and sex-deprived I've been all these years since puberty. I have self-control. Mostly because my parents expected it of me.

You are right on one thing though: abstinence education doesn't work. But then, what the hell do you expect when schools try to teach something that is the parents' domain?
I'm lost. I've gone to find myself. If I should return before I get back, please ask me to wait. Thanks.

The problem is that many parents these days view it as the school's domain. Consider what happens when Junior does something bad at school. [sarcasm]It can't be the parent's fault! Oh no, how could a parent be to blame for their children's issues? [/sarcasm]

As a side note, you recieve props for being celibate before marriage. I don't have that kind of moral character, but a healthy respect for those who do.
