Hi! This is CAT
... I'm a BIG fan of Jason Siebels... Loath to admit it as I am...
He says he has a big announcement Monday Jan 16th 2006 and I am keeping my fingers crossed that it actually IS big news so I'm starting this topic on his behalf.
I mean it can't be that his strip has been picked up by the syndicates... they wouldn't survive the Lawsuit... (His characters DO look like Trudeau's ...Really...).
Still, I'm expecting HUGE things out of Jason so this could be the break he's been looking for....
Then again... maybe he's just getting married... Oh well Check out his strip if you're not familiar with it... It's truely inspired!!!

Hey guys, There is some HUGE news on the horizon. Two pieces of it in fact. Major, massive, earth shattering, world ending news on the horizon.

Saw that announcement. I'm guessing he's been Spotted. I don't know why they won't allow people to announce it immediately, but it's the same pattern of behaviour that Starline showed us.

Whatever happens, I have a hearty 'congrats' ready.

Well....

I cant say anything till midnight.

Not because the parties that be swore me to secrecy (I don't remember there being a "sworn to secrecy" agreement in there anywhere), but that I just said I WOULDN'T and I WON'T till Midnight when the update goes on the site.

Because I'm a DICK, and I like making people wait.

I knew him before he was a nobody. I stumbled across ABH in the keenspace signups (the limbo stage before you can actually update) and wrote down the address. I've read it everyday since day 1.
I think he's got spotted (which he truly deserves updating daily with a quality strip for a over a year without missing a beat) and he's got picked up by some indy papers. He could easily become professionally syndicated. He's got the skills and the work ethic. Whatever the news is he's on the right track.
