(And I did this one for a Christmas strip too.)

If either of my Secret Santas come through, I'll post that on Christmas. If not.. I'll come up with some stand-alone piece. My characters also don't celebrate Christmas, and are stuck in one very long day, even if they did.

If I think of some good idea, I'll make it a christmass comic. Otherwise, I'll probably stick to regular schedule.

This year I've got an idea beginning to take shape for an end of year Christmas strip, but I've got a few from last year that might strike somebody's interest.
This reminds me of a question I've always wanted to ask you - do you folks play the "traditional" christmas carols? I can't imagine "I'm Dreaming of a White Christmas" would fly down there. Nor would "Frosty the Snowman" come to think of it.
Yeah, we still sing the old favourites. Not so much the ones about snow and stuff, but they get a run like the rest of them. We've got our own little carols as well (besides the self-written rubbish I posted above).

Dashing through the bush in a rusty Holden ute
Kicking up the dust, Esky in the boot.
Keplie by my side, singing Christmas songs,
It's Christmas time and I am in my singlet, shorts and thongs.

Jingle bells, jingle bells, jingle all the way.
Christmas in Australia on a scorching summer's day.
Jingle bells, jingle bells, Christmas time is beaut!
Oh what fun it is to ride in a rusty Holden ute!

Engine's getting hot, we dodge the kangaroos,
The swaggie climbs aboard, he is welcome too.
All the family's there, sitting by the pool,
Christmas Day the Aussie way beside the barbecue.

Come the afternoon grandpa has a doze,
The kids and Uncle Bruce are swimming in their clothes.
The time comes round to go, we take a family snap,
And pack the car and all shoot through before the washing up!

Yeah...good songs like that one.
Remember when your imagination was real? When the day seemed
longer than it was, and tomorrow was always another game away?

My characters will be celebrating christmas during the week of strips before and after the 25th, but it's going to be in the background. I've got a ton of exposition that I've gotta slog through before January. Maybe I'll do a storyline that actually involves Christmas next winter.

I totally wussed out on every single holiday this year. Took the week before and after Halloween off, didn't mention Thanksgiving till the following Monday, and completely forgot about Easter. Oh, except for the fourth of July, which got a whole week of strips devoted to it. Oooeeooo.

Aww but Christmas in space would rock! I mean you have Santa sneaking off to all the planets and spaceships, giving out Toys from his Quantum Singularity Pack of Infinite Toys. Riding around in his Cloaked Space Sleigh powered by his Reindeer XIII engine. It's a truely beautiful thing...
I'm suddenly reminded of that Evil Robo santa from Futurarama

Well, I've done a fast filler, with no jokes, no effort, just one of my characters standing, dressed in the costume of that famous Santa guy, and saying "Ho ho!" instead of "Ho ho ho!". :P

I don't see why some of you won't do holiday strips because you are currently in a storyline. I'm sure your readers will understand if you take time out to do a "non continuous" strip for your comic to celebrate the holiday....especially if you give them significant warning in doing so.

I did a holiday strip for my comic "Niece Web". Warning, its somewhat NSFW because it contains my stylized drawings of some of the pictures from the Pain Series (like Goatse, Tubgirl, etc). If you don't know what that is, then there are some links provided, but you have been warned. And yes, I am going to hell for putting those things in a holiday comic.

The climax of the current little storyline I do will be a little Christmassy...Christmas will be mentioned.

Unfortunately it probably won't arrive until a day or two after Christmas...so it will be more of boxing day comic I guess.

Well, updated with today's sort of Christmassy comic...a double sized comic at that! First time I've ever messed around with the size-format of the strip.
