I'll start it off with some Beethoven (I'm trying to learn to play this one right now, but it's not going quite as well as I'd like ) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O6txOvK-mAk
"We will not end the nightmare, we will only explain it."
I'm listening to Bittersweet Symphony at the moment. It's one of those songs that I like a lot, and listen to for comfort (I'll post some of the other ones I do that with later).
The Fibonacci Sequence that I mentioned in the dissociation thread. Richie introduced me to the music of Dr. Steel earlier in the summer, and I find it quite neat (it's all cool and sciency).
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g937L8DeNvA <--- Tori Amos singing Kylie Minogue's song "Can't Get You Out Of My Head". pretty much in the exact same manner that I imagined her doing so back when the original version was making the rounds on MTV and I was a brand new fan of Tori, wondering how she might have covered the song. talk about a mind-fuck when I found out that she did indeed cover it... three years later.
is that the same performance that I linked to in here, Jonnie?
eh, no matter.
this video... all I know about it is that the kid playing guitar here was about nine years old when it was taken. and that the title is "Diamondhead and Pipeline". http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=boneScKCGuU
