Santa!!!
*Checks photobucket for some pre-uploaded pictures, as I'm at work...*
Here's my attempt at blacksmithing last year. A leaf pendant, and the coolest nail you'll ever see:

TMBG in St. Louis last year (SOOO cold that night):

And me with pink hair:

I miss my long hair...why the hell did I have to get it cut over the winter?

Re: The Camwhore Thread!
Since I found my camera the other day...new pictures!
A painting I started awhile back (well, the top of it anyway):

One of the pouches I've been knitting:

A sock monkey I sewed a few years back:

One of the hats I knitted a few months ago:

And my haircut (it's grown maybe two inches since I got it cut back in January):

(Jim took the picture too soon...I'm not really flashing gang-signs at you. Or maybe I am!
)

Re: The Camwhore Thread!
since this is the camwhore thread, I'm gonna post a picture of myself.
it's from the summer of 2003, the day after my friend Joe and I saw Tori Amos perform at Chastain Park for her Lottapianos tour.

Re: The Camwhore Thread!
So, remember that night last fall when I was drunk and wrote that letter to Bart? Found the letter during my cleaning spree while ago, and decided to have some fun with it.
Wheee, confetti!

Heeheehee:

Aw, no more letter...

Yay!

(This is why I take so bloody long to get anything done, though...damn distractions!

I also 'fixed' the couch! (I'll most likely post a picture of that later on)

Re: The Camwhore Thread!
I mentioned on chat how ridiculous my cleaning outfit looked, and was immediately asked to post a picture of it.
Argh, I shouldn't!
But I will anyway...
I hereby give you: A 'Henry Blake' hat/Bright striped tee-shirt/Rolled up jeans (legs need to be shaved too)/and socks with the Grinch on them. You can't say I didn't warn you.

And yay! A semi-clean background! (Jim moved his beanbag chair and that pillow back into the living room after I'd taken them out, but oh well.) Ooh, and I put my pillows I crocheted on the couch (which also has a 'Disney plush theme' to it now, and also mended the one cushion with a big obvious patch!

Re: The Camwhore Thread!
we're familiar with lolcats.
but are you familiar with loltoris?
go to http://www.undented.com, click on "You" up at the top, then click on "loltori" over on the left.
this one hasn't been posted there yet (last I checked), but here's one that I made to put up there.

Why yes I am (but only because you've already shown them to me)!ciararavenblaze wrote: but are you familiar with loltoris?

*Edits post, so as not to double-post.*
Found a picture from a few months before I got my hair cut. (By the time I got it cut, it was a bit longer than that, actually.)

There's this one too, but I like the first one better.

Re: The Camwhore Thread!
Speaking of pets, this is a cat that stopped by a couple years ago. Jim dubbed him 'Rotten' because he wasn't the smartest cat ever, at times. (See how he's a many-toed cat, too? He may've been imbred.) But he was really cute and friendly, and I liked him!

(I was gonna post some more play pictures, actually...but they're buried in my closet after I cleaned last week. Hence, the several year old picture that was already in the photobucket archives!)

Re: The Camwhore Thread!
Meet Taran. His full name (first and middle...yeah, I give my pets middle names) was 'Taran Munkustrap.' When I was still working at the cave, we found in the woods one day a litter of tiny, adorable kittens. Their mom was feral, and wasn't there, so we took them into the breakroom and divided them up amongst ourselves. I chose him because he was not only adorable (I have a picture of him when he was the same size as a beanie baby...he'd actually grown a bit since we'd gotten him by then, too) but because he was the most attacky cat I'd ever seen, and it was SOOO fun to play with him!
So I took him down to Arkansas, much to my parents dismay (well I couldn't have pets at my place), where he stayed until he (sadly, and much too young) died. Even though mom was against the idea at first, she ended up growing very attached to him. She never did call him by his real name, either...I don't know how she came up with this, but she called him 'Munchie.'
