Why are YOU eccentric?

I'm eccentric because I can't leave my post count at numbers ending with 4, 8, or 9. I am posting this so I can get a nice, round number.

ha! awesome. I'm the opposite. I like even numbers. but I haven't paid attention to how many posts I've made so far, so that doesn't concern me. it's more with edible stuff that I'm that way.

I prefer odd numbers myself for the most part. I think it stems from an artistic thing. In pictures (for example), I don't ever want to have two chickens, four trees, or six whatevers. Makes things too symmetrical, and that's not what I want. Looks more artistic if things are unbalanced. So I've gotten into the 'odds' habit, and now I have to do things like put three or five ice cubes in my glass (that is, when I put ice in there...I usually go sans ice).

I drive my parents CRAZY by grabbing even numbers of ice at a time for my drinks. not that I don't already drive my dad crazy for using so much. "you're wasting ice!" *looks at glass of water* um... no I'm not. melted ice is water.

I'm usually an even-number person. When I was little I needed everything to be even. It's an OCD thing. When it comes to art I prefer even numbers, though.

especially if I develop a cyst somewhere on my body and find it. I can't stop poking it.

Same here. Or a bugbite, or a zit...even though doing that more often than not results in them lasting longer.

for me, it just makes the affected spot pink and very sore, and sometimes bruised. because it drives me so crazy that I try to get rid of it. x_x

I'm eccentric because I make up words for ways of laughing. for example, "snorgle". to "snorgle" means to snort, chuckle, snicker and giggle at the same time.

Hmm...why am I eccentric? I carry rocks around in my purse (and right now, wallet...I bought a citrine and a pink tourmaline from work the other day, and I keep forgetting to put them away).

if that's eccentric, then I am too, Kat. I've got a bag of rocks which I collected from some new age stores over the years.

I have a sandstone that I keep in my room. Got it from the campground in Estes Park, Colorado. I have no idea why, but I when I was there I got a really strong feeling that I had to take it with me. So I did. It's in my room now, under the nightstand by my bed.
