Korgan starts to move forward but before he can ask for some flanking from the fighters the zombold is pulverized and the skeletons are revealed. Having already taken a couple of steps towards the front Korgan picks up speed and charges the the front-left skeleton with an enthusiastic yell. (Charge attack with heavy mace.)

Dareth whirls, aiming a clawed hand at the nearest skeleton. "Let not the law which rule us all be so lightly dismissed. Let those who flaunt the Earth Lord's rule with a fresher death be kissed!"
(Magic missile, obviously insert whatever verbal spell components are required after his dire pronouncement.)

Simon smirks as the door closes, crushing the zombie kobold in its wake.
"Or slamming a heavy iron door shut on it could work too."
Then the click registers and Simon glances around to see that they are now surrounded by skeletons, at least half a dozen of them. He swivels to fire an arrow at the closest one, not knowing if it will do any good or not.
"Looks like betting is closed on where we find the first trap!"
OOC: Just put this after Thanatos' post for Jakob.

Simple Simon met a pieman going to the fair;
Said Simple Simon to the pieman "Let me taste your ware."
Said the pieman to Simple Simon "Show me first your penny."
Said Simple Simon to the pieman "Sir, I have not any!"
Half-elves and golems and nymphs, oh my!

(( This is my post for when it is my turn in case it becomes my turn while being out tomorrow / tonight ))
Terra saw the gobblin get destroyed by a door, leaving her nothing to have fun with. However it was about then that the secret doors were revealed and interesting skeletons started to appear. Terra headed straight toward the boney creatures in the southeast corner of the room (the ones closest to her according to the map thingy) with her scimitar ready and got ready to slash one of them and could not wait to get her hands on the others. Her small smile had indeed returned as she went quickly to work.
(( So Scimitar melee is +4 and with weapon focus of scimitar should make it +5 ... correct?))

"Gah! Secret Doors, you fool!" Jakob cursed to himself aloud after the bowls spun around, revealing skeletons. Jakob immediatly hefted his weapon and retreated to the back of the room, hiding behind one of the pillars at the hall's entryway, and sighted lone skeleton, letting loose a quick prayer to Nox.
Then he loosed the bolt (I had reloaded at the end of my action last round.)

"By the Blood of Gygax! Is there no end to these walking dead?"
Rowan lunges forward, rapier leading, to engage one of the skeletons near the south wall (assuming the bottom wall is south). He has little faith that his rapier will be effective against a target with no flesh to puncture, but he's certain he can occupy it until Korgan can make quick work of it with his mace.
(Rowan attacks the unattacked skeletons at the bottom left of Tom's map with a full defensive action...so what is that, -4 to hit, +2 to AC? Also, Rowan's attack for the Rapier is normally +4 due to Weapon Finesse instead of +3.)

The iron door slams shut violently on the zombold, causing the bard to jump slightly. He shakes his head slowly, smiling at his luck, until the hidden doors start to open. "Oh, delightful," Aeron quips dryly surveying his surroundings from the center of the room. Watching the skeletons emerge, his gaze lights on the lone skeleton. He takes aim once again, and fires (shortbow: +4, lone skeleton). "Always good to start the story with a nice twist."

Jakob: Light Crossbow: (1d20+4=5, 1d20+4=17, 1d8=2)Jakobs' bolt flies into the corridor. You hear a *Spang*Spang*Clunk*. Skeleton #1 is unharmed.
Simon: Shortbow: (1d20+3=9, 1d20+3=13, 1d4=3)Simons' attack sails by the skeleton, spangs off the wall twice and then you hear a faint *Tink*. Skeleton #1 is unharmed
Ellimist: Quarterstaff: Wolf: Bite: (1d20-1=8, 1d6-1=2, 1d20+3=20, 1d6=6) While the quarterstaff whooshing over its head doesn't do any damage, the skeleton is distracted long enough for the wolf to bite it. The skeleton on the far right bottom now bears teeth marks on its shin. Skeleton #7 takes damage.
Rowan: Rapier: (1d20+0=10, 1d6=2) Rowan finds that hitting something made of holes is not very easy. Skeleton #5 is unharmed
Terra: Scimitar: (1d20+5=13, 1d6+3=6) Terras' scimitar skitters off the skeletons' shield. Skeleton #7 is unharmed.
Yes, +5 for attack. You should add the bonus from Weapon Focus to the Other collumn of your melee attack.
Elana: Light crossbow: (1d20+2=7, 1d8=5) Elanas' bolt flies straight down the niche. You hear a *Clunk*. Skeleton #5 is unharmed.
As the skeletons have a +5 Init bonus, they act higher in the initiative order. (#1: 1d20+1=14, 1d6+1=5, #2: 1d20+1=3, 1d6+1=3, #3: 1d20+1=4, 1d6+1=3, #4: 1d20+1=13, 1d6+1=6, #5: 1d20+1=16, 1d6+1=2, #6: 1d20+1=17, 1d6+1=5, #7: 1d20+1=21, 1d6+1=2)Skeleton #1 attacks Simon; Skeleton #2 attacks Dareth; Skeleton #3 attacks Korgan; Skeleton #4 attacks Rowan; Skeleton #5 attacks Rowan; Skeleton #7 attacks Terra; Skeleton #7 attacks Terra and does not score a critical. Skeleton #7: Possible critical. (1d20+1=8, 1d6+1=2)
Aeron: Shortbow: (1d20+4=17, 1d6=3) While Aeron manages to hit the skeleton, the bolt simply deflects off a rib and does no damage. (DR) Skeleton #1 is unharmed
Dareth: Magic Missile: (1d4+1=3) Dareths' magic missile slams into the skeleton, but does not destroy it. Skeleton #2 is damaged.
Korgan: Heavy mace: (1d20+3=4, 1d8+3=6) Korgan kills the floor dead. Skeleton #1 is unharmed.
I think that takes care of everything.
Simon: Shortbow: (1d20+3=9, 1d20+3=13, 1d4=3)Simons' attack sails by the skeleton, spangs off the wall twice and then you hear a faint *Tink*. Skeleton #1 is unharmed

Rowan's body twists and weaves as he dodges the jerky attacks of the Harryhausen Horror he faces. Hopping back and forth he tries to engage two of the skeletons, hoping to both delay them for his more appropriately armed allies and keep them from passing him to fight the somewhat easier prey of his lightly armoured allies.
"A song Bards! Something to stir our blood against this grisly foe! Have at you! Have at you again! HA HA!"
His blade whickers back and forth, though it is still evident he seeks to defend more than attack.
(Still fighting defensively (-4 to hit, +2AC) here Narf, except now I'm +1 to hit and +3 total damage after the benefits from the bard song! WOO! I'm willing to eat an attack of opportunity from one of the skeletons if it'll keep the two of them from passing me and getting to the other PCs behind me. If I don't have to eat an AOA, then so much the better.

"I'm getting well and truly FED UP with this!" Jakob proclaims, moving to the nearest table, turning it on its side, and proceeding to turn its legs into clubs. Knowing his dagger and kama would be next-to useless against constructions made sheerly of bone, he keeps one for himself and lets the rest lay on the floor for other interested party members to acquire.
<<EDIT:>>
~ Somewhere in the act, the Crossbow is belted~
((Upending of the table is towards the largest concentration of monsters, providing a cover bonus, if applicable. If upending the table would provoke an Attack of Oppertunity, he upends it towards the oppertunistic skeleton, so the cover denies the attack. Can't afford getting hit, now))

Letting out a sigh of exasperation, Aeron realizes that his bow will do no good against these foes. "It was worth a shot," he says with conviction in his voice. Drawing his mace, the bard purses his lips momentarily, considering. Then, a smile on his face, he begins to sing 'The Ballad of the Grinder'.
'Under mace and under toe,
through the ever falling ranks,
through all, the fighters swinging go,
with rogues to cover open flanks.'
(Inspire courage: +1 save vs. fear/charm, +1 atk/dam)

(( Talley for me -2 HP so far ))
A small frown shows on Terra's face as a clang is heard, but it quickly dissappeared when the feeling of slight pain hits her. About then a smile on her face is shown and stays there as she mumbles, "well well now this is getting interesting." She sees a few take cover but opts for still going head to head with the skeleton with her favorite weapon, the scimitar, and tries to slash it again hoping to make better contact.
(( OK melee attack with scimitar so +5 and not using power attack oh and if I manage to actually kill something just a reminder that I would use the feat cleave ^^ ))

"Stupid skeleton!" Korgan shouts as his target lunges past him, causing both of them to miss. "Get yer scrawny ass back here!" Korgan swings his mace at the skeleton once more.
((Shields? What are these skeletons armed with? Korgan would go after the best armed one in his corner if there's any difference between them.))

OOC: Darned padded armor! I knew I shoulda stuck with leather armor! -5 HP for Simon.
IC: Simon growls as his shot misses again.
"Damned bow is defective! Last time I buy from a one-eyed hag!"
Then the skeleton lurches at him and rakes him with it's boney fingers. Simon isn't quite fast enough to avoid the strike and receives a rather nasty gash. He clutches at the wound for a moment as he backs away from the undead monstrosity before him.
"Okay, that's it. I've got a bone to pick with you now!"
He turns and runs for the cover of the table Jakob has overturned, dropping his bow when he gets there to snatch up one of the broken chair legs to use as a weapon. It isn't much, but it's better than his bow or daggers against this type of enemy.

Ellimist grunted in annoyance as his attack missed, by. His wolf however managed to land an effective blow on the skeleton.
"Good Girl! Now.. drop the bone... drop it... no,no, drop it... Good girl! Who's a good wolf? Yes you are, yes you are!"
He looks up again in surprise as the skeleton manages to draw blood from Terra, and immediately turns back to the task at hand.
((Attacking the same skeleton again.))

Dareth, at a loss for any effective options, chants rapidly and waves his hands.

Jakob manages to pry off the table legs and finds himself with nothing to do but prop up the table (All actions used).
Skeleton #1 viciously attacks a fleeing Simon: (1d20+1=5, 1d20+1=3, 1d6+1=5, 1d6+1=2) And misses.
Simon reaches the relative safety of the overturned table and finds himself the proud owner of a table leg.
Ellimist and Wolf, Skeleton #5 in the southwest corner pocket: (1d20-1=19, 1d6-1=2, 1d20+3=12, 1d6+1=4) Ellimist manages to whack the skeleton in the ribs, producing noticeable cracks.
Rowan: Unfortunately, the only bard song happens after you (Even if Elana hadn't gone QIS). Also, +1 to attack/damage from Inspire Courage, not +3. On the bright side, a five-foot step is all that's needed.
Rowan, skeleton #5, southwest corner pocket: (1d20+0=8, 1d6=5) And it's a clean miss, but at least he didn't sink the white ball.
Had a slight error with exactly who is attacking who, but should be fixed now in accordance with the notes.
Skeleton #7 (Really, this time), southeast corner pocket: (1d20+5=11, 1d6+3=9) Terras' powerfull blow comes to nothing, as a swing that would have gutted a mortal merely flies through empty space.
Elana succumbs to uncounsciousness with success and is presumably somewhere on the floor.
Seven skeletons in a marching band. One fell asleep and lost his place. Now there's six for a song of death: (#1: 1d20+1=10, 1d6+1=3, #1: 1d20+1=4, 1d6+1=6, #3: 1d20+1=3, 1d6+1=3, #4: 1d20+1=11, 1d6+1=4, #5: 1d20+1=16, 1d6+1=4, #6: 1d20+1=16, 1d6+1=2)Skeleton #1 attacks Simon; Skeleton #2 attacks Dareth; Skeleton #3 attacks Korgan; Skeleton #4 attacks Ellimist; Skeleton #5 attacks Rowan; Skeleton #6 attacks Terra.
Yaay for copy and paste. I may actually be done before tomorrow.
Aeron sings a song of inspiring courage. From now on to a minimum of the next five rounds, every ally gets +1 to saves versus Fear/Charm and a +1 to attack and damage.
Dareth waters the skeletons; the various bits dampened slowly start glowing. It looks like a +1 to hit the skeleton next round sort of glow. Unfortunately, it doesn't look like a 'Oh no! I'm melting!' sort of glow.
Korgan:
Given that I picked them out of the monster manual and I can too easily spend an hour or more just figuring out the turn, they all have scimitars and heavy steel shields. Variety will come, but for the first encounter I went with simplicity. Korgan and the Skeleton that Hates Simon: (1d20+3=18, 1d8+3=5) Korgans' mace smashes into the skeletons' ribcage, shattering it like a badly-made piano. Also, since the skeleton inadvisadly went after Simon, he gets an Attack of Opportunity (1d20+3=19, 1d8+3=11) His second attack scatters skeleton across the entire room.
And I do believe that is finished. Yaays.

Yaays.
