ONE DAY EARLIER
"Wow, this comic rocks, they're relaticely new to CG, and they haven't heard of me. This is a fantabulous opportunity to go up to 'em and swap links!"
"NO, you FOOL! You don't have a proper link banner! It doesn't even have the right URL! You will be laffed at heartily!"
"Oh, right. Yikes. Guess I'll hold off on this email I just composed and was two seconds from sending. So what am I gonna rant about today...?"
*Rant* *Rant* *Rant*
"Oh darn. Feels like it's missing something. ahh... I'll sneak in a TotS link. They deserve some props for updating more consistently than I, and even better, it's like secret Santa. They won't know until I'm ready to tell them! I can be all like 'hey Auker. You rawk. Can I call you Rawker? Notice that big bump in traffic you got a couple days ago? That was totally me.' And they're all like 'Sweet. Nice ad banner.' And I'd be all 'Photoshop 7 for the win, baby.'"
RIGHT NOW
"............"
"There are not enough letters in the word FOOL to truly describe how much of one you are."
"Well, they noticed, and they thanked me for it. We're already hitting it off."
"They ruined your moment! You expected nothing in return for your kindness, and look what happened! Their effort outweighs yours, thus, the precious good karma is theirs, and you cannot contest to win it back, for kindness and competiton are total opposites!"
"So what now?"
"Crank out a banner this INSTANT! No... TWO BANNERS!"
"But Titan Quest! FFXII! It hurts so good... So what about the email?"
"The sooner you send it, the better. They will think it is weird, and that you are even wierder."
"Hey. Check out TotS #125."
"...You are in good company. I concede, but do not get used to outwitting your own superego. You NEED motivation... sometimes."

Yay! another schizo!
but atleast this taught you a lesson... and you finally have a banner... so who knows: for helping certain folk out; you might get more good karma... if you get the banner around a little...
Now, if only I could get off my lazy rear and make a webcomic myself...
Edit: Just finished reading the entirety of TotS! AWESOME! Can't wait for more! and also to get my freakin Wii... >.>

I see myself as a "powerful ally." Which means I operate at peak performance when I'm doing someone else a favor, or just tryin' to be nice. A & C welcomed me in with open arms, and since then inspiration has struck me to make not one, but TWO fancomics. well, since each is only a single panel, it may count as fan art instead, but it still rawks. And by that I mean THEY rawk, with imitation being the sincerest form of flattery and all that.
Don't diss sprite comics.
