Anyway, regarding the first strip of this one: I gotta say that it's a bad sign when people start hanging a lampshade on the previous lampshade hangings. I think it's about time that joke there was retired.

Regarding the second strip: it's noble of Timothy to try and put the big picture above his own concerns, though like was pointed out it's a long flight, so he might get the opportunity anyway. It's also nice that he's showing concern for one of his comrades. I gotta wonder though how Heinkel is gonna answer this one. Actually I wonder if Heinkel even knows where she is now. If you don't know you can't give information away after all.

I like to know about Anderson's concerns. Nice to know Timothy isn't alone with his doubts on the mission.

So I read the comic and i was like "What? Anderson is conflicted about this? But then I sort of remembered that (and I'm probobly over thinking this) Anderson is very much an anti-villain. He's almost a superhero. During the day mild mannered Father Alexander Anderson runs his orphanage, but at night he becomes the invincible paladin who destroys those who would endanger his flock! His zeal in hunting vampires isn't really a bad thing, is it? We know of a single vampire (a few more in anime and Shine continuity) that could be considered anything but evil. (it ain't Alucard.) And given that its very plausible that Anderson was involved with the troubles in Ireland (he's a regenerater we have no real idea how old he is) his virulent hatred of protestants is understandable, if not excusable.

i find the way Alucard seems to be searching for a 'hero' to kill him rather awesome. (Mostly for fanfiction reasons.)

Remember what happened between him and Enrico in canon. (which I won't say for spoiler purposes). I'm not shocked he's already conflicted.

I just thought of something, and I apologize in advance if I touch a nerve here or there. Many intersexed individuals will get surgery at some point to try and at least hide the fact, assuming their parents didn't have it done when they were still young. So, if Heinkel was a guinea pig for creating regenerators, just how young was shi when that went on? And has it impaired hir ability to get that kind of surgery, or did she just not want to?

Also, if Heinkel was a part of the first generation, uh, how old would that make hir?
