As much as I'd like to see a paper user other than the obvious Yomiko show up......sadly my favorite paper master ain't making an appearance. Damn you stoic yet very very good male paper master with no real ident!
Yeah I'd put it at 50/50 chances of yomiko or maggie. Though I think Michelle showing up here would just be silly and hilarious.

The more I think about it, the more likely I find that it IS another papermaster-either from the British Library, hunting for Yomiko to answer for the fire, or from Dokusensha, also hunting Yomiko because they think they have a chance to get her on their side now.
As for a specific identity, a minor character from ROD, an OC, or Erin makes yet another crossover. None specifically come to mind, except for one, but I'm totally biased toward that fandom, so I'm not answering it.

Remember this?
http://hellsing.comicgenesis.com/d/20090322.html
My guess is that Maggie somehow got away from Millennium and is right now making her way to find Sir Integra - and ran into Ann's security. And if Integra contacts Walter about finding information about Millennium - as well as mentioning Maggie out-of-turn - that'll be a BIG complication for ol' Schro!

I do remember that. I pin that on Rip, though. She's in the cover pic for Let There Be Guns, after all.

And so, The Dandyman shows up. I'd comment more, but I'm about to be late for work. Bye! *Runs for door*

Alhambra is a card shark! We're talking about a paper master! I still think it's Maggie!Starcat5 wrote:And so, The Dandyman shows up. I'd comment more, but I'm about to be late for work. Bye! *Runs for door*

Ridley maybe?
IIRC there are only 6-7 known papermasters in the R.O.D. universe so unless it's someone made up for this (or someone who's not actually a R.O.D. papermaster) the choices are limited.

IT'S SONNY! O_O
I sense massive amounts of PWN and slaughter for tomorrows strip. Donnie is about the only character in ROD the TV that actually kills people. BLOODILY kills people. I want to see him fight Seras (who is using the flamethrower!).
On a more serious note, what could Dokusensha want from Hellsing or Warbucks??? Except MAYBE the original version of Stoker's Dracula, which is most likely back at the mansion in England. I'm confused...

The correct answer has been guessed - but that's all I'll say for now

Re: Let There Be Guns!
I'm inclined to agree, partially because Alhambra might SEEM like a paper master due to his weapon choice (and because I know nothing about RoD). We'll see, though.Atticusblackwolf wrote:I still have my money on Dandyman

Okay, so from the description we now know it's Alhambra. Still, is he acting under the Major's orders... or is this just a bit of random violence on his part?

Is there really a difference? The Major is chaotic neutral at it's finest-doesn't care what happens as long as there's a war.BigKwell wrote:(reads latest strip)

Edit: Hey, wait a minute! Ain't that Peppermint Patty and Marcie?
Re: Let There Be Guns!
Yep it's the dandy man. White hair, long coat, uses paper-ish things. No doubt on that.
Finally, I remember to do a signature! Oh the wonder! Oh the happiness! ... I don't even have a snappy remark to make.
I am in DESPAIR! The lack of a snappy remark for my signature has left me in despair!
Ooh I got it!

O_O I totally didn't see her as Marcie. (Darn my not getting the "sir" part!) I'm also used to Peppermint Patty being in green.
Edit: So, Marcie and Patty are married? Sweet deal.

S'what I thought too, or as much as they can be in 1990's Chicago (fails at gay marriage, or rather remembering where that's legal).
I'm with Pip on this one, what better opportunity to test the weapons than with an invasion by a random(?) card/papermaster?

Nowhere in the US in 1999, unfortunately. But Warbucks has always been ahead of its time.Kazokuhouou wrote:S'what I thought too, or as much as they can be in 1990's Chicago (fails at gay marriage, or rather remembering where that's legal).
(Iowa AND Vermont just legalized it in the past week. *dance*)
