Good that Yumiko is only a nun, Yumie would probably shout:"Sinner!" and pierce the wall of the confessional during the confession... But i think the pupils would not expect such a 'feminine' priest like Heinkel (but the order of iscariot is some kind of modern inquisition so they wouldn't be expected anyways^^)
But I wonder if there really is as much to confess on a catholic girls school? I mean, last eastern/christmas can't be too long ago?

Nah just kidding, you cant remember everything lol.
but i must say; though Risa and Roy in that one are easily recognized as the resemblance is good enough, the one for Alex is kind of disapointing, i only recognized him thru the little purple sparks near his face. its one of this trademarks when he tries to look good LOL!
i wonder what other Cross over's Erin can think up.
But i am a little suprized not to have seen HellsingXSailormoon Cross over's yet :p
BTW: that reminds me, Erin.
could you provide me a link to you're Sailormoon Fanfic?
i heard things left and right that you wrote one, but i am having a hard time to find it.

Or at least, that Yumie's existence will be important to the arc.Xuanwu wrote:"Plot point" can also mean "plot element" or "a subject that will be dealt with over the course of the plot." In other words, Erin's saying we'll find out Yumie's origins in this arc.
...although, now that you mention it...
...a plot bunny just mugged me and ran off with my wallet.
I've had a general idea of things I want to include in this storyline for some time now, but this Saturday something clicked in my head, and now I know how these things will develop, exactly who will end up in battle with who and in what order, and how it will look when the dust settles.
Recently, for a completely different fic in a completely different fandom, I've been doing research that involves multiple personality disorder. But for some reason I never connected it to this storyline.
Until now.
Oh, this is going to be so much fun. I'm dizzy with anticipation.
Oh, tell me the scene! And/or the idea! They may or may not work within the storyline, but I'd love to hear themUrahara wrote:Still, I have an idea on why Yumiko left Lillian. But it would also get rid of the awesome "Yumiko finding out her grande souer is still at Lillian for some reason" scene I have in my head. And it'd be rather dramatic, which is only good when there's a good punchline or Timothy getting confused.

There have been a few Sailor Moon cameos in the strip so far. (Michiru hit on Integra way back during the cruise storyline, for example.)Tommygunner70 wrote:But i am a little suprized not to have seen HellsingXSailormoon Cross over's yet :p

All of my online fanfic is here: http://reseda-ptah.livejournal.com/
In the right-hand column is a list of tags. Click "series: sailor moon".
Actually, the only fic in that category is a short-but-epic Hellsing crossover

There's also, if you follow Neopets at all, the Sailor Neopets RPG. Lots of other people participated, but I started it and did the most writing.
I have loads of stories about pretty-looking, badly-developed otaku senshi that I wrote about before discovering places to upload my fic, for which I am very thankful. Maybe someday I'll dig them out and draw them, or something.

Alternate versions in the Mishmash don't really count, if you ask me. Anyway, Dr. von Helsing mentions the alchemy several times when talking about Vlad's achievements; I don't have my copies of Dracula with me and don't feel like hunting for an English copy in this country, so I can't be much more specific than that. If there's one crossover/cameo I'd really like to see, it'd be a mention of Father Mulcahy from the 4077th; just someone who was in Viet--Korea in the early 50s. Maybe he made a pilgrimage to the Vatican afterwards and Iscariot has something in their vaults.Xuanwu wrote:Shame on you for not knowing Fullmetal Alchemist, which, BTW, has already appeared in Shine. If Dracula as an alchemist when he was alive (not something I knew), that gives me some further ideas for plans I've already been working on.Athos wrote:If memory serves, Thule was a label ancient authors attached to some place in the extreme north, so a good boat is all that's needed (yes, yes, I know: you're talking about some anime or other that I don't know or care about). In any event, Dracula was an alchemist in life according to Stoker's novel. But I think that too many crossovers, even in a comedy series, is a sure sign of degeneracy and desperation for readers.
Hmm...I could've sworn that the Vatican has taken a pretty hard line against ordaining women. Then again, reality and Shine are only rarely compatible. And Heinkel does pass for a man pretty well.
Trust me, I'm trying! I already have an epic-level SM x Hellsing crossover outlined, with about a quarter of it fully fleshed out. It has: all the senshi, character driven interactions (Seiya and Integra make an amazing dialogue pair, Pip and Michiru are downright *devilish* when they start talking to each other), multiple youma to ensure lots of action, Integra kicking tail, and a big-bad that justifies having all 12 senshi present to help Hellsing with it.Tommygunner70 wrote:i wonder what other Cross over's Erin can think up.

Erin's not convinced that mixing magical girls with Hellsing is a good idea for Shine, though. >_>
There is a saying that would apply to this situation in some language or other...something about fighting the proper foes. While Alucard can handle just about any type of (super)natural enemy, there are some things that it just wouldn't be a good idea to send magical girls against. Things that show up in the Hellsing world with distressing regularity.
Pretty much anything disposed to attack suddenly and ignore the girls' speeches is a bad matchup for magical girls. I have an idea or two for a story involving this concept, but they need fleshing out and joining up.

the Hellsing universe is made up of Religion and the supernatural, which are explainable.
Magical powers are something that just doesn't mix with that universe so good.
it kind of looking at it like that which can determan if the idea will work or not. but i wonder in what way Erin looked at it.

Yeah. Being Catholic doesn't automatically imply any kind of purity or whatever. Regardless of what Maxwell might think.atticus_blackwolf wrote:I go to a Catholic school. Teenagers at a Catholic school are still, in fact, teenagers. With all that implies.

I still like to see a Hellsing/Tenchi Muyo! (OVA) crossover in "Shine".Athos wrote:There is a saying that would apply to this situation in some language or other...something about fighting the proper foes. Here's how I think of them: They're not part of the Shine universe, but they're part of the Shine multiverse.Athos wrote:Alternate versions in the Mishmash don't really count, if you ask me.
In practice, this means they won't encounter the Shine characters under normal circumstances. But if one of them comes up with a method for universe-hopping (similar to fangirl portals), it could happen.

I'm not quite sure but i don't think nuns can do confession. So who will do it..Timmy's not a priest. I guess Heinkel will have to do it then.

Yes, only priests and higher ones (bishops and so on) are allowed to spend the sacrament of Confession so i think Heinkel is the priest of whom they are talking about.atticus_blackwolf wrote: I'm not quite sure but i don't think nuns can do confession. But there's also another way to get your sins forgiven:
every christmas and eastern the Pope spents the "Urbi et Orbi" (lat. for "the city and the world") Blessing, if you're on the St. Peters Square, or hear the broadcast on the radio or watch it on TV and if you truly regret your sins the will be forgiven like in the sacrament of Confession, and you don't get a penalty like praying some Pater Nosters.

Something I just noticed... Sei's line in the last panel reminds me strongly of Nanny Ogg from the Discworld books.
Edit:
Oh god, now I'm imagining a Hellsing/Discworld crossover. That'd be hell on Angua... having to deal with Seras and Alucard on top of Salacia.
And Integra and Vimes would either get along great, or constantly be at each others throats, I'm not sure which...

Sei's appearance reminds me of Shizuru from Mai Hime, personally. I pitched a Mai Hime crossover once, but it's not an easy series to bring into the Shineverse due to its back story. Maybe Sei is Shizuru's alternate version...ManyWorlds wrote:Something I just noticed... Sei's line in the last panel reminds me strongly of Nanny Ogg from the Discworld books.
Yomiko Readman. L Space. Dungeon Dimension. That's the combo I've been thinking of. I haven't managed to put together anything that'd work, though. I'm still converting the scene into words in my head, so it might take a day or to before I can get it up here. I'm still recovering from lack of computer this week.SailorPtah wrote:Oh, tell me the scene! And/or the idea! SO. Now my reactions to this week, organized by day.
TUESDAY: LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLyumi
WEDNESDAY: YUMI GOT SEI'D.
THURSDAY: Reminds me of the situation I was in Wednesday. Except I had to get Tony off myself...
FRIDAY:
-SACHIKO uses DEATH GLARE!
-It's super effective!
-Wild SEI fled!
OVERALL: We won't get Katou Kei, Noriko or T-T-T-TWIN DRILL, but that means more long-haired Sei instead of short-haired Sei that looks like Rei but isn't Rei because she's in college and has Yumi visiting.
WOW. COLLEGE-SEI AND REI LOOK A LOT ALIKE, AND HAVE SIMILAR NAMES.
..But College-Sei is more likely to be Kira. >:3

Ok... i am shocked...
i went to Erin's Page and i ended up at her YouTube account. and in her favorites there i saw one vid titled "Kinderen voor Kinderen song - Two Fathers"
i had the cold chills running down my spine.
ok maybe you lot cant imagine why, but as a lative to the language...
lets just say that some people need a barf bag because the singing is so... how do you say... Croket? off tune?
but even though a cat screaming its brains out sounds better, they still watch it because of the cute kids who preforms it.
it's even worse then our anthom or some of our Local Music.
You realy, REALLY scare the crap out of me for just having it in you're favorite's there Erin...
