Don't worry about it. Just read the old strips and you'll be updated in no time. Trust me, I felt the same way when I started reading for the first time.

Oh, Thanks! I get it now... I hope there is another fangirl attack... I've been reading the comics... But I haven't finished all of them. Just got through the first fangirl attack.

Fangirl attacks are an annual occurence, since they were the genesis of ASHN. They got cut off early this year for plot reasons. They're loads of fun, though.

Alucard is one of, if not the, most powerful vampires in existence. Of COURSE he has Comic Awareness.

Although, the members of Shine Hellsing (Integra, Seras, Alucard, Pip, and Walter), all seem to have Comic Awareness. They have all shown being able to break the fourth wall.

Schroe licks Alucard. I wonder how long before we get Schroe x Alucard fanart. I still love the manga scene where Alucard's gun is in Schroe's mouth. Hirano's use of phallic objects could be the basis of a long analytic essay.
