So what exactly did happen with the old man character that fought the boss by himself in final fantasy 4? I've played bits of most of the final fantasies. ( I get distracted easily so i didn't finish any of them!)

About the latest comic...

Hmm. The "ThunderBall" spell was taken from the James Bond movie of the same name (love the opening song), but the other two were original. ...Or so I thought. "Glacial Dirge" is some sort of techno song and "Riot Inferno" is some sort of disco lingo, apparently. Or something.

If it takes the ultimate spell to defeat Malbez then it will take an EVEN more ultimate spell to defeat Xantrich.. path isn't going to cast Meteor is he?

I'm guessing Aracelli will probably have stronger magic than path once she gets going.. And the way Exor-Ken was talking about Fatima being a blood catalyst maybe suggests she might be on the way to big powerful spells as well..
By the way, is castle demiurge a gnostic reference?

I just love how Haz can draw complicated poses for people (panel 1 of 206, Path holding himself up), yet more 'regular' poses seem a bit more unrefined. You are learning in reverse HW.
