Ophelia's plot thickens indeed. Check out this page as well. What a shady character. (Speaking of shady...look how the panels behind possessed Nessie are darker than those behind normal Nessie.)
I wonder why, though, and the extent to which Nessie will follow along.
"Terri--bly good. Oooh yes, this could work..." God, that little segment said so much about Nessie's character. And that smile.
"You made a pendulum out of a battery?"
"Indeed. And it holds charge quite well, I may add."
Hmph. Drama queen. Yes, I realize the pun, but I still say that term describes her perfectly.
So... Ophelia has something against Naomi, I see. Girl seems to attract ghosts like flies. I've got some theories vaguely relating to that, but it all sort of depends on how ghosts work in this world... and I still have no idea WHY Naomi is so popular with the corporeally-challenged.
I am no one who is someone who may yet become anyone so long as he trusts no one.
Maybe it's her family? Her mom's overreaction to the flat accident shows a little bit of paranoia. Maybe they're paranoid of the paranormal and aren't telling Naomi something. (Or she forgot.)

Ohhh, Nessie. Let's hope she doesn't decide to go through with it just because of publicity or something. o_o;
Definitely looking very freaky with the shading in that last panel. And the drippy mascara (or at least that's what it looks like) definitely makes me wonder whether Ophelia was a goth in life.
