I say one big. There seem like there are a bit less people than last year. So maybe we need less Tvs?

Seems that neither of us may be there until Friday morning at the earliest... though I MAY be there on Thursday evening... we'll see... depending on who else we can get into our room, I may need to crash on someone's floor for one evening if I get there early.
I would like one last try to interject:Rkolter wrote:My rule still stands on Wii -
Not everyone will use the dang-blasted strap. And it only takes one person with a sweaty hand or loose grip to destroy a television that Beth and I would have to pay through the nose to replace.
No Wii. Other consoles where you aren't actively flicking the controller AT the television will be fine.

I'm quoting myself to add that as a slightly different option, if you wanted to rent one of the two TVs we're going to get for the cookout, the cookout fund would pay for the actual rental - but the TV would end up in your name, and that one could have a Wii attached to it. Makes more sense and seems fairer to have the cookout fund pay for the TV, since it's for the cookout and all.Rkolter wrote:If you really want a Wii at the cookout, go rent a TV and bring it? I'm serious! There are rental places nearby; I'll get you information so you can call ahead. We can put up another table, and we can get you power. And that TV can run the Wii, and on the tiny chance it gets busted, Beth and I won't be out any money for it.
As long as the TV has RCA (red-white-yellow connectors) I should be able to connect my Wii to it, and I will accept the TV' responsibility. However, i would also like, on the very slim chance it gets broken, to whoever dealt the "fatality" to the TV, to also own up and help cover it. But, like I said, I've never experienced, not even heard 2nd hand, of a Wii/TV incident. You need me to call the hotel and tell them to put one TV in my name? Well, PM me details I guess.Rkolter wrote:I'm quoting myself to add that as a slightly different option, if you wanted to rent one of the two TVs we're going to get for the cookout, the cookout fund would pay for the actual rental - but the TV would end up in your name, and that one could have a Wii attached to it.
