Shitty times call for me to bring a smile back to mass. Or at least damn well try.
Let me begin:
1) Today one of my boys was insistant on "Ms. Beth" to push him on the tire swing today. Keep yelling my name on the playground until one of the other teachers had to come over and grab me to get him to shut up
2) I got E kitten curled up asleep on a towel next to my foot. She my so called guard cat.
I have a great artist who wants me to write a comic for him. And the story is coming along so well that even if he pulls out, I'll be happy it's turned into a plot with such cool potential even if I have to write it as a novel or something.
And something else I've been working on for a good six months and are really excited about should come to fruition in about ten days thanks to a kind volunteer guinea pig.
My classroom at college is getting newer computers. Because it's a hardware room and the computers are there to be broken, they won't be crash hot but they should run XP at last.
1. I did something really fun in game today. Finally. I've been feeling very awkward at game...two years without much day to day human interaction (on a friend level, anyhow) will do that to a person. But this was really fun.
2. My roommate's Good Kitty is back! =D He's so sweet.
3. One of my really good friends emailed me the story of how my other really good friend proposed to her. It was so sweet and odd...so very them. It was great.
My decision to buy 99c poptarts instead of going and eating a real dinner all alone resulted into me meeting my co-worker has he left work, allowing us to actually talk for a while (we haven't been able to hang out at work lately).
Now if only I can survive these finals, everything will be right in the world.
it looks surprisingly good on my 32" LCD flatpanel monitor, even for a standard depth, the fact that the wii displays in widescreen is nice.
i'll haveta buy some compoent cables for it, but only after i buy a switching box for it.. as my 360 currently occupies the component inputs.
"when a hero dies, he becomes a legend, that legend, with time, becomes a myth, then a fable, that fable, is then carved in stone, and when that stone crumbles, it is lost" - Takahn.
I got to school this morning and I found out that... today there's no school. No classes. It was weird to see that everybody is late for some strange reason.
I finished up Issue 7 and a page for the Crossover Wars, as well as continued working on getting my proportion drawing to a point that I can do without having to look back at the tutorial. ^_^
Quote of the Moment: “Greetings, my friend. We are all interested in the future, for that is where you and I are going to spend the rest of our lives.” ~Criswell~
The kid who was rushed to Melbourne with seizures last week came back for a quick visit today... just as we were trying to make his 'Get Well' card. His timing was impeccable and the kids went right off their collective nuts trying to hide it all from him.
Remember when your imagination was real? When the day seemed
longer than it was, and tomorrow was always another game away?
