Well, it's official.
I am to be on call 24/7. And to be paid 25% of my hourly rate for every weekday hour I am on call, and 37.5% of my weekly rate for every weekend hour or holiday hour I am on call.
This works out, for a normal work week, to around 38 hours of extra pay.
I get, on average, a dozen pages a year of any importance.
So... yeah. It was in the unhappy thread because I was being pulled in three different directions. But now that this impossibly silly situation has become an actual reality, I've basically earned a 100% pay raise.
Sure, it won't last long. Some bean counter will FREAK OUT and put an end to it. But until then... whohoo!

Today was my last day of working at Yellerstone. Tomorrow, I drive away into the future!

Damn skippy I did! 6 hours waiting >.<
Apparently it's a contender for the longest signing he's ever done. Reason it took so long wasn't because there were lots of people though.
It was because he insisted on not turning away a single person, and rather than just signing books and moving to the next person, he stopped and had a bit of a chat with everyone that came past him.
As I say, bloody nice bloke.
I keep forgetting you're a Londoner now Robby, we should do some kind of London based meetup :p
