Well I don't know about the baron, but Ryclaude did start out as Minister of Bootlicking, but as you can see, he quickly rose through the ranks.
But yes you have a point! I should have someone to rub my feet as well! Any takers out there?

Still something to do with violence - you can be a Commander in one of my armed units. You know the kind of work. General stuff - Millitary combat, policing, thuggery, guarding, keeping people in line, summary executions. You'd answer to Lag and Ryclaude, but it's very laissez faire really.

Same position goes for beyonder, Faceless and Tynan. We've got a really grand armoury and neat unifroms to boot.

Well, seeing as even if this is built to be an "everlasting empire", mortal rulers never last and rarely do their essential beings transcend their frail bodies, I will openly declare that I operate independently of anything Mr.Bob asserts.

However, I will not be so bold as to declare President Bob an enemy. So long as his actions do not result in the annihilation of sentient humanoid Terran life forms I will commit no direct action against his current reign (though I make no promises about indirect actions).

Should Mr.Bob supply with equal share, I offer a trade agreement. If Mr.Bob provides me souls, I will provide him power above and beyond his current limitations, at the time of his death. In addition to this I will provide a diplomatic channel between his Minister of Demonic Affairs and some low maintenance labourers. I will not allow these demon slaves to physically harm any mortal, and I hope Mr.Bob or his Minister of Demonic Affairs can assure me no mortal will attempt to infuriate these labourers.

If this offer is unacceptable, I humbly request to hold the position of at least one of the following:
Minister of Broken Promises
Minister of Extradimensional Affairs
Minister of Silly Walks

Should none of this be acceptable . . . remember those labourers I mentioned? Well, they double as very aggressive infantry.

Also, depending on what synthetics were used, the lifespan of even the most well-built metalic/plastic components of the cybernetic organism can't be any more than several million years.

But by then, we should have the capability to upload minds to a digital format. Sure, you'd have to watch out for the occasional trojan, but you'd last until the end of time.
