Production on Venture Bros hasn't started yet, so I mostly do their Shirt Club stuff (along with everyone else at the office). For a while I animated and did the lip-sync on a scene from a pitch they're trying for a new show, but that finished up a week ago. It looks like I'll work on props and backgrounds when the VB stuff starts up again in September. Unfortunately, I'm only an unpaid intern so I don't get credits (or they'll have to pay me, apparently). They have some senior interns who have been there for a good while, and they get more awesome responsibilities than a fresh face like me.

I should clarify that I work at the animation studio and not with Astrobase. Astrobase is responsible for the scripting and the like, and World Leaders is the animation and production environment.

As for Apple, I'll be working in SoHo in Manhattan as a specialist. It took a filter process of 4 interviews to get the job.
Interview one was a group interview of 15, filtered from 1000 applicants who submitted resumés online. Interviews two and three were people filtered from the first interview, interviewing at the specific locations in Manhattan to which they replied. Interview four was the only individual interview, directly with the manager of the site. What's really freaky is that there are simultaneous group interviews going on in any given day.

Congrats! But you know, if the Venture Bros. gets worse, I'll be quite unhappy. And the real rivalry is Microsoft and Apple, not IBM and Apple. By the way, how many 10.x's can there be?

Not really anymore. IBM has been out of the PC and Laptop market for years. And we don't make music players or telephones.

Well... One of my new roommates decided to take off with two months worth of rent leaving us with an eviction notice, and almost $3000 worth of rent and bills to pay. ... Luckily everything worked out and we were able to get the money - but it was pretty scary for a few days.

One of my professors told me he'd write my recommendation letter. Like, omg awesome. He's a Fulbright Scholar, a leader in foreign policy and like...i'm just really happy. On top of that, a guy that totally burned me contacted me today....asking for forgiveness. I totally didn't see that coming.
