We were there for a furry convention.
We went to a restaurant called Friendly's and the people waiting our tables asked why there were people wearing ears and tails. So we invited them to our final epic room party last night and they decided to become furries. It was fun. Even Beetlejuice was there:

Hey, it was hard enough even getting around in the first place! Waterbury is in the middle of nowhere. We had to literally run 1.5 miles in the dark rain to the liquor store at 8:40 pm because you can't buy alcohol after 9:00 pm in Waterbury. The con used to be at the Sheraton at BDL airport, but the membership outgrew the space.Nanda wrote:You fuckers!Tim wrote:And not informing those of us in New England! The Neko wrote:What the heck are you guys doing in Connecticut?!
HA HA! And we didn't even try. They asked, and then came of their own free will. We just wanted food. The Neko wrote:It's like being a Jehova's Witness, only you actually succeeded in convincing someone.theSuburbanLetdown wrote:So we invited them to our final epic room party last night and they decided to become furries.

never heard of Punky Professionals, Russell Jerome's Punky Colors is IMO the best dye on the market. And Manic Panic gel works great.mvmarcz wrote:when I was coloring I did their purple(also the lagoon blue) the purple was so shiny and saturated and as staining the tub is par for the course it was actually a brand that didn't permanently stain and was so easy to clean up
Damn now you guys make me wanna dye again
I hate bleaching though ._. so hot
I used Punky Color eggplant once. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v11/p ... 620019.jpg
do you have a salon/beauty supply store at all? I can probably ask around and find some answers. course I don't know any one who lives that far up north I don't think.snail wrote:Gah! I don't live in the States!
I'll have to find something here in Canada... I live in the middle of no-where Saskatchewan, and there is Nothing here!
but thats everyone for the tips and such!
and Thanks.
My hair is naturally dark brown.. so it took a while to get there haha
ha ha my hair is almost black (1/2 navajo) it is a bitch to bleach... and getting in white it does take a while, but I like it. need to do another go soon... so I'm letting my hair grow some.. course I like it as it gets longer. might have to do something else in the haircut field soon.

Yep, we slipped them into our water and then asked them "Does this taste ok to you?"The Neko wrote:Yeah, and I'm sure those roofies had nothing to do with it. I know your game. By the end of the day, they were growing ears and tails.
...
...not to mention I look like someone who would slip something in someone's drink, judging by those two pictures...
My eyes are really not that beady, I was just tired.
Yeah we have Marvel and The clip and curl. Also, I think we just got a new store in called Gothical... so I'll check if they have bleach and dye's. It's the only "alternative" store in town, so I have my fingers crossed.phact0rri wrote:do you have a salon/beauty supply store at all? Out of all the colors I've dyed my hair - White is the best. I can still get a job with it! haha

Well I'd personally stay away from "trend" stores... well plus that name would give me visions of inflated Cold Play and Marlyn Mansion Tshirts. ^_^ I bought this bauhaus shirt years ago in one of those stores... and it was 30 dollars and started coming apart within a week (it was a cool shirt though. cover of the Sky's Gone out). But I degress...snail wrote:Yeah we have Marvel and The clip and curl. Also, I think we just got a new store in called Gothical... so I'll check if they have bleach and dye's. Trend stores aside from scaring me, and being expensive... the selections usually aren't wonderful. I know that going to them here anyways, they have F/X and Manic Panic. Personally I like Salon stores cause your getting professional quality stuffs.
Lip Service in LA, or Cyber Dog in London are forgivable, just cause they have great clothes!
Ha ha.. yeah thats my reasoning exactly. Job! I like the white okay, I do enjoy pink and purple a lot. but I am looking for a job right now, thats why I had to cut the hawke, and have professional isqe hair. I still have ear tails though.
