Transparency Issue - IE

So those of you using IE are seeing a totally different page than I'm seeing, and I apologize. So I'm gonna try and fix it (should be relatively easy), but part of me doesn't want to, as kindofa f-u to the sites out there which will only work in IE (on purpose no less). Anyone who has an opinion on this matter, please chime in.

I appreciate your pandering to IE, since I don't currently have Firefox or such. I know, I know, I'm not helping fight corporate evil, but I just got tired of 30% of the blogs and sites I visit coming up all screwy.
