Anthrocon '08

The happening place to be. Unless you go somewhere else that's more stimulating.

Is anyone going to this? I'll most likely be there.

Despite it not being very far away, it's still too far for me. I doubt I'd be comfortable there anyway.

Eeer, I dunno, I'm a bit of a closet furry. I think I'd feel really weird going to a convention.

Eh, it's fun. I go and treat it like a vacation. Plus a lot of my friends go.

It's more about the people. They can be boring if you don't know anyone. It's not the big sex party the media makes it out to be. And fursuiters are in the minority. Last year, 14% of the people were suiters.

Right its a 50 percent chance I could be going, but theres bills and stuff I have to handle. Who knows.

And I would still need room to boot.

I need to find a con close by. I had considered FurFun which is in Spokane in two weeks. (sigh) work is out of control and so I may not get time off before then.

In Oct 2005 I went to Conifur at Seatac. I met Seth (Buddies In Big Places) Triggs. I also met Laura "Longtail" Blacksin(Apollo 9, Gemini Bright, Coons). I also met "Uncle Kagi" and saw his great drinking-dialogs with 2 the Ranting Gryphon.

Unfortunately Conifur is Kaput. But I'll keep my eyes open. I'd really prefer a small con to a large one. Further Confusion is probably the largest one I would dare.
