Severed Ties ------->The current arc

The happening place to be. Unless you go somewhere else that's more stimulating.

It depends on the viewer. That smile in panel was pretty creepy though. I toned it down a bit. And redrawing the hand obscures his smile a bit in panel 4.

Oooooooooooooooooooooooooh man.....

The new expressions are better. Much more subtle. I thought he was gonna jump up and pounce on the poor guy on the pencils. His interest is still clear but it's within reason.

Thanks. And redrawing that crappy hand into a less crappy hand obscures the smile a bit too.

On a different subject, it has now been revealed where this comic takes place. Woo hoo.

I like it. Ted's face is great in the first panel.

That's actually one of my favorite panels. I may make it my avatar at some point.

CG's up and running again. And the page turned out real nice. I agree with yeahduff; the expressions are much better now. The hand looks fine too. Good job.

I actually can't tell much difference regarding the inking. Perhaps it's more obvious when looking at the original art or a print version rather than 600x900 px gifs.

Focusing on the totality of the work rather than individual frames is a good idea. It's easy - tempting really - to get lost in details that don't really make any difference to the reading experience.

For the same reason, I'm seriously considering doing digital "inking" for my work-in-slow-progress. My tablet pen inking looks far sketchier than my brush inking, but brush inking takes me so damn long. So yeah.

Is it like what they did with the Simpsons, Family Guy, or did you use an actual place?

It's based on an actual place, but I won't outright name it because it's more fun this way. That and I also changed it around a lot. But I will say Rosander University is in the Midwest.

Look at what the crow in the upper right-hand corner is saying:

http://www.indianabeach.com/

I used to see these commercials all the time.

Also, keep in mind we don't know where Evan lives, so we don't know what direction they're going in.

Obviously you do care, or you wouldn't have said anything. Or are you really just an asshole?

I my sister used to sing it, but change the words to, "There's no more corn, in Indiana....."
