Hi, Thank you for your nice comments and for the vote! (it was very close, so every vote counted :D )

I started out using macromedia freehand, then switched to adobe illustrator. I love using vector based software because I love the fact you can get the lines perfectly clean and where I want them (I have terrible hand skills, I really admire people who can ink using brushes and pens!).

I aslo add textures and "special effects" in good old photoshop (this is my favorite part- it's like icing the cake!

i can SO identify with unshakey hands and the like- can't draw a straight line. looks like a strand of curly hair... i really thing i should start learning illustrator, after seeing such nice clean works like yours and the like. and yes, photoshop extras are oh so <3! i love all your characters- so dolllike and yet so expressive~

thank youu for answering my questions~

I've only recently started using Illustrator, but I only have access to it at work so I don't really get to use it for my comic.
In all honesty, I don't think I would. I mean, I like how clean you can get things using vectors, but just the amount of time that I'd have to put into adjusting everything... I'm very impatient. Heh.

And I totally relate to the problem with steady hands.
Part of the reason I took up drawing in the first place was because I was born with nerve damage and my motor skills were complete shit. Drawing was just an exercise for me at first, but it turned into a full blown hobby.
Anywhat, my hands have gotten better, but they still shake violently. People often aske me if I'm on coke or have Parkinsens.
