Well, yes and no.
First off, and this will come up in the comic in the near future (so consider it a sneak preview for forumgoers), Lucky doesn't actually have any real control over his powers.
Timebender needed a distraction. But so did Lucky. Things happened. Was it his powers? Just a coincidence? That random chance that follows most heroes around and causes (to a lesser extent) coincidences? He never really knows (and rest assured, it's the sort of thing that he worries about. )
I was just being speculative. See, its funny how Time Benders problem became his problem because he's her friend. If luck can work that way then it has enormous consequences if used right. Its still an interesting use of luck powers for general purposes. But yeah, I'm just overthinking it .
That was a twist. That was a twist worthy of me (although probably more deliberate, given that secretly the two biggest twists so far in my comic have been due to an art mistake and a bout of boring-lecture-inspired mania respectively ^^;)
This is possibly going to be the strangest love story evARRRR...
I love how Ecchs can't talk properly in the 4th panel...
Tink
Siress Commander Tinkerbell Nickmaker, the Pokingfu Knight, of the Order of Tinkinators!
This is currently fourth on my list of "top upcoming storylines". Unfortunately, numbers 1 through 3 are far enough ahead that I've barely started hinting at them so far.
As far as Rigor Mozart, he grew out of an IM conversation and actually predates the heroes (which, being a zombie, makes a sort of weird sense, eh?) I had a chance, and I used him.
I know this isn't technically the punchline of the current strip (though the punchline is hilarious) the concept of the Witch Doctor's dreaded fleet of... vans... is hilarious to me.
It's not that he's escaping with the prototypes in his fleet of mechs or AT-ATs or even, like, magically animated tree-things of some type. It's a fleet of... vans!
It's like, saying "fear will keep the local systems in line. Fear of this Honda Civic."
I love it!
Also, Ecches' response is wonderful. Top notch script.
*nods* We had a story end there; it's possible that I'll have to actually note scene breaks in the future. *makes a mental note* Hopefully, tomorrow's comic will make this a bit more clear.
