Are you planning on a backstage sort of thing for Order of Thorns as well, as there was in the original?

Yes and no. 
I would like to do it, but it'll have to wait until I've gotten enough stuff under my belt to whip one off; I don't want the Backstage stuff to interfere with the story comics. Glad you like them, though.
