Parkour! Because we can can can!

Post by Nziz »

Ever since we heard of it, my fiance and I have thought that parkour is the most awesome thing since hoverboards. For the uninitiated, it is similar to / also called freerunning, and involves running jumping climbing vaulting and basically spidermanning across town. YouTube is full of videos of it.

Now, we've got one up too. Yay! XD
It's nothing fancy, just jumping over playground bars to music, but it turned out pretty good for the first video I've edited, and the third day we've tried parkour.

Anyways, yay! Here it is; go see!

I never knew that had a proper name.

There's a jungle gym thingy at my former grade school. Perhaps I'll take a jump or two on it the next time I'm down that way.

Fun video, though.

Omigoodness! :o

I think I've only tried skateboarding maybe once or twice WAAAAY back in Junior High and promptly fell on my arse. Skateboarding also seems to be cyclical around my area: it's popular for a few years, then nothing for a few years, then it's popular again, etc...

I may be old and cranky now but I can still be silly like that on a playground when the mood strikes. :shucks:
