Noses Optional: The Graphic Novel.....

The lives of two self-proclaimed geek/gamer chicks as told by themselves. Sadly, we don't have to exaggerate much from reality.

Noses Optional: The Graphic Novel.....

Post by E~Man »

Just one question...

How long until we can expect Volume One of Noses Optional in the graphic novel section of books stores? :D

We should probably come up with a theme or adventure or something, anyone have any suggestions?

As for suggestions, good luck. They don't even let me suggest stuff, and I live with them ^_^ Don't mess with the creative magic!! Don't do it!!

Um...I think what Kristy and I will do is compile the comics we have out already, into a book...when we have enough to compile into a book...which might take a few years. Any other project that actually has a theme or continuous story to it will mostlikely not be called Noses Optional. It's really not suppose to have a continuous story...as I'm sure you've noticed by now.

Kubey...thanks for the warning :)

Fred...cool! Just think of the notoriety you'll get with the 'Zombie Jesus' strips...if ya get banned you'll have an instant #1 best seller!

Make sure you keep the afterword commentary, 'tis a major part of the charm of Noses.

We'll (the fans) will have to send Kubey a lash (like on the old galley ships) to make Fred and Kristy work faster.... :P

Ooh! Did somebody say "book"?

Yes, for those who don't know me, I'm a reference librarian in upstate New York.

So, it's kinda like working in a bookstore, except I'm not trying to sell anything and I still have to put up with periodically insane customers.

Anyway...I'd like to second the suggestion for a compilation of your strips, girls.

There are many comic strip collections where the strips don't have common themes or ongoing stories.

Yes, your internet audience is potentially far more vast than the pitiful numbers reading comics in book format today but getting to see your great strip in the "physical" world just might entice the non-computer people out there into checking it out.

That's my opinion. So, when the time is right, I would recommend taking the plunge and doing a book collection someday.

You girls have the makings of a webcomic that will never go stale. Since the comic is reality based and your lives are full of such spontaniety.....how could it?

Very true.

I've had the pleasure of knowing Fred for a few years now and met Kristy for the first time this past April.

They really are that spontaneous in person and the comic thrives because of it.

Keep being yourselves, girls, and your comic will go as far as you want it to.
