And no, pearls can't go through the mail. Even though it'd be really convenient.

mmm... oh well, no worries. just try again next wednesday. Maybe send a letter to Square telling them that linkpearls should be mailable too, I think if the mail can handle magic wands/staves/earrings/etc... it should be able to handle one small pearl.

Next Thursday is my birthday ^__^ and although I asked for it in like January, I still was not approved to have it off.

So I am trying to trade for an opening shift rather than a 12-9 shift, so I can at least freakin enjoy SOME of the day and make the gather. I should find out tonight if the one person in my area who is willing to trade with me, can. (For her it involves rescheduling a babysitter... here's hoping!)

And before you say anything, YES I want to spend my b-day playing FFXI. Hell, me and Mish spent our anniversary playing FFXI. ^_~

Cool, I'll bring along the whm for festive protectra-ing at the party (since I have no other flashy light-shows or fireworks). Kinda sucks that they'd make you work on your b-day, I personally have experience with having to work on a b-day so I really hope you get it off.

It went better than I thought - she traded my Wednesday off for her Thursday off. I now work til midnight on Wednesday but have all day Thursday off. Mish opens but she will be out at 5. I will probably go have lunmch with her since I get paid that day (Finally!!) and I have to pay for our flights to the Con. So it's all happy excitement. ^__^

Unrelated coolness @ work from today:

Customer on the Phone: Hi, I was looking for a DVD, I was wondering if you guys had it there.
Me: Okay, what's the title and I can check.
Customer: It's Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind.
Me: Oh, I was watching that last night! Um, but we don't carry it here any more. I got mine used from a GameStop, though.
Customer: Oh, cool. Okay, thanks!
Me: Good luck! Bye!
Customer: Bye!

That's great news. Cool story too, Nausicaa is a good movie.

Is it just me or does online comic reading have a correlation to playing MMO's and watching anime? Some sort of good/evil triumverate...

Also just cause I'm posting here right now while looking at my calendar: Happy Extraterrestrial Abductions Day (yeah, I've got a wierd calendar here at work)

Graaah. Re: my schedule switch. Apparently the assistant manager over my department never wrote it down on the board, so when I asked her about it now she says that she doesn't know yet, since they may be transferring the girl that I traded with to the claims department. In 2 days. And that if they do put her there then I can't trade with her and she will have to rearrange the schedule for the coming 3 weeks as well. So now I have no idea what I will be working, even tomorrow. >_<

Dang, looks like murphey's law strikes again. Chaos and mayhem when it's least wanted/needed, hope things work out for you.

[Edit] Laith's currently back in windurst resting and recuperating after a bad dunes party, so that's where I can be hunted down at. Umm... no other updates than that. Hope to see ya all tonight.

I'm a glutton for punishment it seems, was back in the dunes with a new party as monk again (got a party faster as monk than whm...) but it went well, only needing to do melee damage when there's good tanks goes better than healing with one bad tank.

I was planning on getting my chocobo tomorrow, but the server maintanence is going to probably be too long ... ;_; I have to go get the boys and we're going to lunch with Mish around 5, then have to go drop them back off at home (or work in Frank's case) and see what is left for time to get a Teleport-Holla and find the chocobo, then get back to Jeuno.... /sigh And make my way back home to Bastok via Teleport-Dem. At least I can bloodport to Jeuno if I have to.

mmm... well if anyone with a pearlsack gets on tonight I'll be in the dunes till I get level 18 (currently level 17), then I'm going to be heading back to windy to solo up some of my jobs and play with various job/sub combinations.

Hihi,

Currently on right now and will be till about 10:00 eastern. Leveling great sword outside sandy for now though I may be heading to the dunes once again in a level or two.

Oh, and Aniero, keep up the great work, I love the show.
