i think it's only on the dvd, but when merry & pippin are waiting for treebeard they sit near a willow tree that wraps itself around them (old man willow) then treebeard comes in and says something tom-like to get the tree to let them go....i looked for the quote in one of my books, but couldn't find it. i'll have to watch the movie again.
