Happy New Year! On the down side, 7 bombs (for 7 brothers?) exploded in my fair city of Bangkok. On the up side, I got BoingBoing-ed in regards to it. Then on the down side yet again, they chopped up my email and made it look like I was actually there, whilst I was actually quoting the guy staying in my apartment while I'm still in the Land Of Oz.

On the ultimate upside, I spent the evening dancing and surrounded by pith helmeted gentelmen, cavemen, panther women, whilst old 1930's-50's jungle themed sexploitation films made the walls glow. Cavemen are great dancers. Good times.

It's going to be a strange year I think...

I got my hands on a functioning Webcam! muhahahahaha life is good.. i'm very much pleased by this.. and.. well.. its not really a webcam.. is more like i downloaded drivers that would allow me to use the Sony Eyetoy as a Webcam.. yes.. i found a loophole..

It seems everything is as it should be, for now.
I will take strides to make fuller use of this thread in the coming week. Granted, with Sindras back in school, I'm not entirely sure who else will be contacting me on a regular basis while I am at work . . .

Everything's gone over alright.. Its sort of in the past a little now, but i'm still confined to the upstairs computer and i frequently have people looking over my shoulder.. ive sent emails pretty much whenever i can, and been on CoH.. but blah.. its difficult to get any privacy anymore..
