and madness . . .

the story of one man's nightmarish journey of searching for the truth.
waking up in a blood drenched amnesiatic haze, ERIK, is befriended by

a woman whose quick to help, although for questionable reasons.
Why is it every time he turns a corner someone has a problem that
leads to violent clashes. he is only seeing a fraction of the larger picture.
memories flashing in and out, sick tendencies breaking through.

erratic shifts in personality.
not knowing who he really is, who his true friends and real enemies are.
what a gang of high society drug pushers and killers have to do with him.
how a high priced narcotic named "GODLIKE" fits in.

but erik is a main character in "title" alone.
a weaved operatic storline that ties in multiple characters
in traumatic situations.

we also delve deeper into the other characters the "berserkers"
a high priced unit of assassins, and their quirks and personalities.
as they march towards self destruction.

Erik must leave a trail of broken bones towards
the path of truth. to unleash hell on those who put him in this unfortunate position. He must enter the dark subculture of gangs and drugs. In this, he learns horrifying secrets about himself.


His goal, to uncover his past . . . then destroy it.

thanks a lot i really appreciate that you took time to say that.
as i will say to anyone who goes from the beginning to the current with this
book, the art style evolves, ha ha. from 2002 to now, it's a completely different looking monster, but always changing. and also keeps the look fresh and interesting.

The art is gorgeous, if a little messy in places, but that just helps add to the look I assume you're going for. I admit, I didn't read the whole archive, at least not yet. It's almost 4 am, after all. One thing I will say is that I'd like to see a prettier webpage to surround your excellent artwork.

keencrow - thanks a lot, i am humbled.
and yeah maybe it's my ADD or something
but i like to keep myself as well as a viewer interested,
keeping the art non-linear helps in that way.
although i will not lie some of the old pieces make me cringe.
and i need to take a full day to work on the site, i put up a
tagboard for like three seconds, so i was joyed with that,
now to just put it
up again and the rest, i have so much extra GL stuff it's mindboggling.

wp - thanks, when i used to have the comic hosted on angelfire
it had chapter breaks and everything, my biggest problem is that i rush and
don't put simple things like "monday" or "erik's house" or something. most likely when i revamp.

I really like the art here, it's a little messy, but that's probably what you were aiming for. The style also kind of creeps me out. But in a good way! ^^;

..... what can i say I think you have inspired me to add gore to my comic. Well maybe not gore gore.... but i can't say i didn't like watching dudes guts get snatched out.

Critique - Excellent artwork and your update speed is very commendable. The plot and humor work great together. I look forward to finishing your archive and following your comic. Oh yeah, one thing I thought could be improved was the text, handwritting it can get a bit hard to read, it may be better to add the text with another program.

it needs to always be improved, and i feel i rush too much in certain areas,
but i'm very humbled, thanks.
i was reading Jager rising, and it has great character design and
the manga effects as if it's been translated.
