Post by Licantro »

I tought it was good idea start the pitching. I'm posting my web comic since January of this year :). My first language is spanish but I'm learning english ^^, my career include it anyway, so I hope you excuse my poor grammar :P

Now let's talk about the comic, Alpha Luna
Type: A Manga Adventure for werecreatures and werewolves fans.
For Mature teenagers and Adults.

About it:
The story af a 19 years old girl named Luna who will realize of her blood heritage, the Lycanthropy. Looking for a forgotten past and a origin she will end facing her destiny covered in fur, fangs and claws...

And that's it..^^ till the story unfold the rest .

The art is excellent. I'm picky about fur in art, but you draw it very well.

I don't have time at work right now to read enough to grasp the story, so far I like it a lot. Keep up the good work!

Holy crap-nicks. :D I love your style and artwork, and I really want to see what's up with Luna. I'll be keeping an eye on your comic. Also, considering it's your second language, the English is excellent.

I really like her friend. xD With the sunglasses.

First of all:

Yay, male nudity! :P just to keep things balanced. And not, the nudity isn't unnecessary (god, how many shfter stories where they keep their clothes on...like Hulk's pants, now that's a strong and elastic fabric).

Second: you have another reader. I had seen your comic months ago, but it stopped right in the page where the big rude man found Fang... but it is becoming quite interesting. ^_^
And about the art...I like how the inking is "dirty". It suits the werewolf theme so well. Very very nice anatomy. And I love how Luna's legs aren't skinny

Good job! 8)

Thank you, I wasn't expecting such response. I feel glad that you like what I'm doing so far ^^

And Yes Rain, nudity for both... :D !....it's a shifting comic after all, ...so there will be the classic nude scenes, it's the normal thing. Now I'd like to know who make those Hulk's pants too XD...or do you remember Manimal?..the tv show, there you have a man going back from panther to man shape with a tuxedo!...

Nox...I think you're officially the first Collie's fan XD

Hmmmm, not sure how much the story really grabs me...

...but it has some nice art, and gratuitious nudity, so I can't complain.

This is good! This is very good! I've seen stuff published by so-called pros that was not this good.
I'm not big on manga styles, but this is very crisp and interesting. I especially like the fact that you don't overuse the manga cliches. The writing on a couple of pages was a bit "meh", but overall, I enjoyed this.

I've bookmarked this and will be following. Thanks.

I agree that the writing is a bit...off. Maybe it's the translation. You can work on that.

The art is fantastic, though. :o

I remember seeing the signup sample for this one a while back. I've actually been reading for a while now. I've always been impressed by the art style- I'm actually quite sure I saw some work from before you started this comic somewhere.

I do think you should perhaps look into having your english proofread first though, the comic could draw more people in if it were in cleaner english. It is not unheardof to have this done. I think bleedman, the guy who does the PPG doujin, does this, though I could be mistaken.

Just the same the art makes that of little concern, because really it's some of the best drawing I've seen in a webcomic.

Truely beautiful artwork. And the greyscale look suits the lycanthropic theme perfectly.

I agree about some of the text but if English isn't your first language you're still doing very well.

Thanks for your critics, they really help me a lot. Certanly I REALLY need to look over the dialogues once again.... And yes most of them were actually written in spanish and then passed to English were I just got some help for the gramatic errors...but something that it will take me sometime to handle is the way the words feels, and how the dialogues flow better or not...thats really difficult for me beign a foreign guy.

So I'll ask for some help un that matter as soon as I can. :)

Derenge, I have an old site about werewolf art ..but it's not for all audience XD , I dont know if "tf"art ring the bell to someone. Now I have to say I checked your art and I really liked it a lot. great comic ^^..the colors you use and the style of your characters are very cool.

Dominic, I'm really fond with manga style.... but people often think that draw big eyes and cool hair is it...

Yeah, I've been following you ever since you were LoboLeo... I always knew you had talent that went beyond the gratuitous TF genre. It's great that you finally pursued your dream of writing a full comic.

I like how the hunter actually ended up being someone knowledgeable instead of a throwaway who gets killed.
