Xtra Space... slightly creamy

Post by Xtraman »

Hello.
My cartoon is called X-Tra Space. It is a simply drawn (and I mean simply...) cartoon about the three Steve brothers and their friends. This is a nasty cartoon with some disturbing jokes that some people might and probably will find offensive. Before anyone gives me shit about the quality, I know it is low. It is suppossed to be low quality and simply made. Also I barely know anything about HTML and am slowly but surely adding things to my comic to make it more flashy. So right now the whole site is sorta...simple... but I will eventually get everything together...maybe.

You should rename your comic "Buck Nasty: Shasta Catastrophe."
Danse Danse Macabre is pretty funny how about you go read it

Your "shock humor" is all "shock" and no "humor".
Of course, I'm the one that isn't JP Sloan or Jim North.

um...to put this as delicately as possible...most people (I hope!) do not mind being offended if there is purpose behind the offence...like, say a plot, a well-turned character, or even attractive artwork.

The purpose of your comic seems to be offending the most people as quickly as possible because I detect nothing that is remotely attractive. Someone may eventually find this comic extreamly entertaining, but unfortunately I do not, and will not be going back.

Coloring tutorial It's a little like coloring boot camp. Without the boots.

And some call me mad cause I draw Stolle. This, is true madness to me. If that's a good or bad thing is not up to me to decide.

Thanks for the comments

Thanks for the comments. I know this a very ugly strip and yes it is entirely for shock purposes. My aim is to sick people out. There is no reason to deny it becuase it is fairly obvious. I will eventually make a comic with some of my more serious and funny cartoons that I actually do because of the art. This comic is just for fun. If you like it great, if you don't great. But if it made you annoyed, made you disgusted, made you never want to look at my site again, and you hate me for it, great, because that is my mission with X-tra space. Pure and simple shock and grossness. Thanks again for the comments, they are greatly appreciated, and please tell me if you hate it, cause I want to know what you think even if you think you are just being mean. Thanks again!

Seems a bit meaningless. Even pointless. That approach makes me wanna yawn. That's all really.

You need someone that we give a damn about. Right now you have bizarre, sick creatures doing bizarre, sick things*. So what? You need a character the audience can relate to, and through that character be drawn into the situation. Otherwise we're outside of the joke, and don't care.

*Note that if you're trying for shock humour, you need to really shock and disgust people. I see worse things than this on my walk to work, or when my cop friend tells me about the latest atrocity he's stumbled over. Watch Peter Jackson's Meet the Feebles or Bad taste for good examples of bad situations.

Alright... I agree.

Ok. Well next comic (in x-tra space) I am doing I am going to start a story line reflecting my shitty ass month of January. It isn't going to be sick, or probably that funny. I hope you will approve, and you must realize that all my comics up till this next one were just for me and my friends (which is a dumbass way to go about it, I know). But now it gets personal to me. So I hope you like the change of heart, and please give it a look once I get this story going, it will be much better. Trust me.

Thanks again for the comments

The one titled "Snow" was ok.

I think you should work on the humor, it's kinda simple.

Still, it was enough to keep me clicking the mouse.

Making comics is a great way to learn how to make comics, or so I figure.

Keep it up.

Peas. :)
