I was in Amsterdam, thousands of miles away from my family.

Also, they were closed. Amsterdam was CLOSED. Stupid Christmas. :ick:

Enjoy your holidays. Beth and I are going back to bed, to properly celebrate the spirit of Christmas, by sleeping in very late.

Merry Christmas everyone! :) Especially to you, Roberto <3

And Merry Christmas to all the unreligious types who celebrate it anyway. Hope you all can manage to spend it with family and/or friends. :3

Merry Christmas to all and to all a good Christmas.

I spent most of the morning playing Tatsunoko vs Capcom. When my thumbs adequately heal I'll be at it again.

It's done. Over. Family time is over. Now all I have to do is eat, sleep, and build my 5 Lego sets I got. I would have more, but they were built last night. To all A Merry Christmas, Happy New Year. Cheers.

Spent the morning up on the mountain, it's been snowing like crazy here, huge base, bunch of fresh, hardly any people for the amount it snowed last night, and yet I only stayed up for a couple hours because the altitude was killing me. I started coughing so hard halfway down the mountain I actually thought I was going to throw up.

Looking forward to another powder day tomorrow, maybe gonna go hit up the brand-new Revelation Bowl that they opened up just this season, plus the Gold Hill chutes that they expanded to, if they're open. There are avalanche warnings all over the place so who knows how the ski patrol is handling the blasting.

*edit*
yeah and merry christmas and stuff. I WAS wearing my santa hat while snowboarding today >_>

Good times.
While I am a horrible mommy and totally forgot to pick up some treats for my kitty, my dad actually got her a thing or two - or, rather, he bought a scratching post (while thinking of my poor couches) and a laser pointer (likely remembering hilarious times with cats + pointers in times past). Am now awaiting the manho's homecoming so I can show him all the stuff I brought home, and make him open his present.

Also to dance joyously at the beast of a microwave my daddy gave me.
Which isn't here yet because Dad was drinking too much avocaat to want to drive me much farther than the train station, and that thing is too huge for lil' old me to lug it around.

Merry Christmas! I fed my parents and sisters and gave them shitloads of presents, then James's parents and brothers and sister gave me shitloads of presents, and assorted relatives of his stuffed me with food. Seems fair.

Now it's all over and I get to play with my new oil paints and lean on my new throw pillows and stuff myself with chocolate! Not all at the same time though. That could get messy.

My sister Sylvia gave me a black scarf and glove set with tan buttons, and the first thing I thought was, "OMG that is so steampunk!" So now I need a new outfit to go with them.

I hung out with my cousins all day, who are awesome now that they're older. We had bubble tea and played the drums for a while.

When they went home, I spent some quality time with Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia and had a beer.
