Diablo II Online Games.

Post by DJMayhem »

With the new announcement of Diablo III, I was amazed to hear so many people still owned D2, and remembered some early plans to play Diablo 2 together. Well, now with summer, it's a perfect time to have some games together. I'm thinking weekly games would be rather fun, for a couple of hours. So...

1. Who's interested?
2. What days/time would be perfect for you?
3. Which version of the game do you have? Do you have the expansion pack?
4. Is your copy *ahem* legal?

If there enough people without a decent legal copy, we may just have to play the game online via a separate server, and not through battle.net.
You know, i should work on this.

Like I said in chat, I'm in
Timewise, the forever-woken one is very flexible
And, I sorta lost my original, so I can just grab whatever version you people are running.... versions shouldn't be an issue for me!

Hellz yeah. I plan on leading an army of beasts. Are you going to lead the undead, or just focus on stat spells?

As my old highschool buddies can tell you, if you suddenly see 15-20 skeletons running around you, I've teleported into the area.

i'll be a sorc or a zon, not sure which yet. :3

Should be noted we may consider just classic diablo 2, because not everyone may have the expansion disc.

Sunday morning would be good because that would be Sunday afternoon/evening for me. Otherwise I'll have to play it at work and my students may take a dim view of that.* Either way, though, I'm going to Melbourne this Monday so if it starts this week, I won't be there for the first session.

So it seems some people (you know who you are) won't be playing with us because of the lack of expansion packs. Do you guys mind if we go to the expansion packs?

oh, and meet up in the IRC room beforehand, mmkay?

Well, I never got around to getting D2 (my random purchase this week happened to be a Dreamcast that I bought at a garage sale), but I hope you all have fun.
