Wii numbers... again.
I didn't want to revive the other threads about Brawl and Mariokart just to get people's friend codes so I figured that a new thread would suffice. Everyone post you Wii numbers and/or friend codes here so that we can brawl and race against each other! even if you don't have either of these games, give us you Wii number so that we can send you mail and such. I will have my Wii number up tonight because I'm late to work! Ciao!

Re: Wii numbers... again.
I have both Brawl and MK
Brawl: 0301 9482 5952
Kart: 2363 6025 1498
Fair warning, though, I'm pretty good.

Re: Wii numbers... again.
I do have a Wii now, but the friends code system is so godamn clunky and useless I cant see myself using it, ever.
Not that I am at all interested in any of the online offerings on the Wii thus far.

Jaw droppingly large strawberry desserts.

My Brawl code is
0602-6053-8054
Mario Kart
1075-1390-4013
I'll need to look up my other codes. Anyone up for a Brawl match soon? Id like to try friend Wifi out.

Re: Wii numbers... again.
Just thought I'd remind people that if you and a friend want to play, you both need each others numbers. I'm assuming y'all knew that but I know some people who didn't so...
Also, I'm up for brawl soon, (I realize you posted that 3 hours ago but still.) I'll probably be ready for the next hour or two.

Re: Wii numbers... again.
Sorry I dropped out after one, but I was experiencing the worst lag I ever seen. Mario Kart wasn't like that, though I still think I should mess with my connection.
You played well though.

Re: Wii numbers... again.
Yeah connection was horrible. Link must be hard like that. It might be my side that caused the lag because I can't connect to any random battle at all. :/ Mario kart works perfect for me though... :S

Re: Wii numbers... again.
Nearly all reviews I heard mentioned friend battles working horribly, but I never imagined it was that bad. I quickly played some other online next gen games inclding Mario Kart (Wii), Team Fortress(PS3), Metal Gear Portable Ops + (PSP) and Call of Duty 4 (PS3) and they all work very smoothly, which is impressive for all the non Wii titles as I ran them in my room which is a fair distance from my router (which is right next to the Wii).

Re: Wii numbers... again.
I got this month's EGM. They've been giving the Wii a (deserved) critical eye as of late with an article comparing the current Wii library with the library of the Ataris (Atari consols allowed for cheap production, so the market quickly became flooded with crappy games to the point where no one invested in them anymore, leading to the great video game crash that Shig saved us from with Super Mario Brothers) last month and this month they checked out the Wii online capabilities and whether or not it would imporve. Essentially it looks like Nintendo won't because they don't need to. They're perfectly content with Wii Ware and the Virtual Consol as the Wii's online legacy.
They explain the laggy Brawl situation as too many people accessing due to its popularity (which isn't consistant with how Mario Kart's ability to run a game with over ten human players smoothly) and suggests playing really late when the servers are less active.

Re: Wii numbers... again.
Ok that's not true, I ONLY play really late and it always sucks. I don't think that's an excuse at all, we've had internet games long enough to know how to get around those things. Halo doesn't have problem because the amount of people they have online, which is half the population of earth! I'm disappointed at nintendo's lack of initiative and foresight.

Re: Wii numbers... again.
I never understood the whole, "the service is overloaded and its lagging the games."
Thats bollocks
sure, it could bog down the matchmaking, but in the vast majority of the games on consoles these days, once you are in the game, thats it. You get 10 consoles talking to each other, it doesnt matter a damn what the rest of the network is doing, because the consoles arent talking to the rest of the network. :|
