H of the D, and C of the D

Ask yourself this: what is the different between someone who is an inhabitant of the darkness, and someone who is a child of the darkness? There is a difference, the question is can you figure it out without me telling you?

The real question is, which do I need to kill and where would you like me to put the bullet?

I don't get this topic. It is more confusing than the last one.

An inhabitant of the darkness pays rent... a child stays there for free. Duh.
This is going in my notebook titled "Things I Didn't Know about Surface Dwellers."

Is this darkness in the literal sense or of the more meta-physical sense?

I assume she means like Drow vs naked mole rats. But...the topic still confuses me. Why does it even need consideration?

The difference is that the entities in question are built through the use of differing glyph patterns.

ask not of whether those are born of darkness, or dwell in darkness, but whether a child of light can harbor darkness within their heart, and a child of darkness can hold light within their own respectively.

Obviously, inhabitants of the darkness just moved to a place without light. Meanwhile, in the case of children of the darkness, some magical mumbo jumbo happened, darkness gained an actual persona, and popped out a baby. Or, alternately, the front man from The Darkness got laid, and the condom broke. (Oh-ho-ho aren't I clever?)

Either that or anyone who asks for clarification.

Well, a child of the darkness would have been birthed by the darkness, while an inhabitant of the darkness would have had to cut the Darkness open and crawl inside of it. They're both messy and painful.
