It's a USB refrigerator for your cans of soda. It's for work.
Beth thinks it's silly. I think it's neat.

Oh yeah! My brother showed me a grill and a pressure cooker that had usb hookups!
Although those sound like fire hazards if ever I did hear of one. Fridge is probably better.
And hey, now you have a fridge to go with your computer's cup holder!

Oh my god!!!
I want both of these, now!
Of course, the first inclination I have is to make grilled cheese with the grill, lol.
Also, given my laptop is older, so it doesn't have a USB 2.0 port, do you think it'll still work with a USB 1.0 port?

The flow of needless luxury items in the US is going to surpass the hedonistic lifestyle of the Romans eventually, if it already hasn't.

Very likely, it already has due to sheer population and technological advances. However, if the Romans had a population of 300 million and th technology to match, then it'd be a fair comparison. And under that comparison, I very much doubt the US would have more hedonistic toys than the Romans.
We're an uptight bunch.

We're just more efficient. Unlike the Romans, we don't need Vomitoriums because we just continue to eat after the point of usefulness or sickness.
And our excesses are a bit more benign, but add up to a massive hysteria. Sneakers... WITH LIGHTS IN THEM.

God I hated those lighty shoes. But not as much as I hate those shoes with the wheel in the heel.
I need a USB powered coffee machine.
