Oh, the irony...

But, as a Classic Rock afficianado(sp), I'm kind of calling the kettle black. I got "Love" (That Beatles remix album) for Christmas, and used my wide array of iTunes gift cards to buy Boston the album by Boston, a few Kansas singles, and some James Brown.

Most of the modern bands I like don't release albums until 2007, but Relient K released a single (Must Have Done Something Right, with Fallen Man as a B-side) that I liked, even though it's a bit more pop-centered than my usual music tastes.
I set my ATM card's number to "0001" because I'm number one!

I assure you it wasn't lost on him.

I was saving this for my own forum (where we encourage people to talk about this kinda stuff), but here are a few in no particular order.

Rainer Maria. Catastrophe Keeps Us Together.
Neko Case. Fox Confessor Brings the Flood.
Gnarls Barkley. St. Elsewhere.
TV On the Radio. Return to Cookie Mountain.
Art Brut. Bang Bang Rock n Roll.
Ghostface. Fish Scale.
M. Ward. Post-War.

There are others, but that's off the top of my head. I also liked songs from CSS, Peter Bjorn and John, TI, and Jenny Lewis.

I'm impressed with some of the lists here. Cool.

This what happens when I post once in a blue moon. Anyway...

New Order - Waiting For the Sirens to Call. Classic New Order and think its way better than their last album Get Ready. The same feel good meaning lyrics and tune are there. Thought it was Technique/Substance/Republic mixed and rolled in with the catchy sythentic beats to going old school.

I do love ABT the DJ - In the Mix 3 album. Too bad I haven't listen to it since I split up my girlfriend. The lyrics foreshadow it.
Game Misconduct: Season 2 - Lights, Camera, Actions.
