They're doing some of the filming at a nearby air force base. No transformers there either, just some plane fly-bys.

...When Michael Bay puts his flippin' name in the teaser right under the big Transformers logo, we know just one thing: this is gonna suck. :(

Ah, well, I'll be seeing it, anyway, even if I get sick from the camera changing every three seconds. ^^

If it really sucks, a horde of Transformer fanboys will rampage against the director, producer, and studio.
Or they might just go all emo for a few weeks.
Whichever.

This movie will suck... this movie will suck and the reason it will is suck is because of one man: John Rogers.

"Who is John Rogers?" I can't hear any of you asking becuase this is the internet and it just doesn't work that way. I'll tell you. John Rogers is a writer who is working on this project. He's not new to the writing scene though, as previous works of his included Catwoman and The Core. Two movies that hung out with each other taking turns sucking the cock of the same donkey.

THAT is why this movie will suck. John Rogers.

I know it's just a teaser trailer, but still, that was horribly disappointing. I mean, that could've been Killer Robots from Mars if they didn't put the name at the end.

As for the story...well, the whole TF thing is kinda silly anyway if you step back and take a good look. So this'll be mostly for the effects. If it really does end up sucking, for me it'll probably fall into the same category as The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy of "movies that I have to like on principle".

I'm not saying it's not worthwhile. I was just somewhat disappointed in the Hitchhiker movie...it wasn't as good as I thought it could've been, considering my love of the work.

I don't care if it sucks or not (well I do, but I'm still ecstatic over that they are even making a movie)! Transformers! WOOOOOHOOOO! :D :D :D

I guess I was the only one expecting this to have something to do with either a trailer that transformed, or Optimus Prime's rig trailer.

It can suck super bad though. So bad that you may feel empty inside when it's over. You may even feel so empty that you will drag your old transformers out of their box and play with them, all the while sobbing at the thought of what could've been.

I have a smiting stick. I bought it at some new age retro-hippie store and it has a face carved into it. I named it Smitey.

I know I lack the necessary testosterone, but please, tell me there's a guy in here who couldn't keep a straight face while watching that, regardless of his own personal childhood nostalgia. I mean, come on. That's going to be god awful. The whole premise is god awful.

"The only warning we would ever get?"

WTF? Are the tranformers like badguys now? Or were they talking about the decepticons. If they turn this into 'giant transforming robots invading earth' then I'm going to be pissed.

But honestly, it doesn't surprise me. Hollywood can't make a good movie based on something else if it's life depended on it. And you know why? Because they can't seem to follow the plot. They always have to change everything around to make it 'cool'. Even though it's not.

There is one exception: Spiderman.

But my point is, how could they possibly make it a GOOD movie? It's about frickin' robot trucks from outerspace! Sure, it works as a cartoon, but you've got to admit, that's one weak premise!
