I'd really dig an archeology thread.

With my childhood obsession with dinosaurs, a bit of paleontology would be fun.

Blackaby's fault *points upwards* not mine.

But seriously, what was so special about the game? Never even heard of it before. Tough boss monsters? Cool plot? What?

Its a bit of alot of stuff. Like instead of hordes of enemies you fight one at a time by scaling up a giant and stabbing it in a weak spot. (oh the redundancy)

It's one of those 'arty' games, like Ico. You only have a sword, a bow and arrow, and a horse, no upgrades, and like Robby said, you fight giants.

Some really cinematic moments. Like when the camera pans up and you realise how titchy you are compared to the damn building walking at you with a club.

I thought it was tight. I mean yeah, it's no Morrowind, but the boss fights (which is basically all there is) are amazing. For lack of a better word, the colossi are massive. The feeling of scale when you see one of them lumbering towards you slowly... it's majestic, beautiful, graceful and there is something undenaibly sad about killing these creatures.

It's really a beautiful game and a lot of fun IMNSHO.

It's not really a hard game, but it's interesting in the fact that it's not ment to be, but it's still fun. It's like they say, it's not a game you play. It's a game you experiance. I didn't really know what they were talking about until I actually played it.

I dunno about it being that interesting. three monsters in it was feeling very very repetative.

climb up to spot. Stab hard three times. repeat.

Ico's puzzle element was a bit more engaging.

The first three bosses are also very easy to figure out. Later on, especially with the last boss, you really not only have to be able to use all your skills, but also try anything you can think of to try and get to the 'weak spot'. The first few they basicly just hand it to you to get the idea of how to climb up and find the spot. After you sart getting further into the game it becomes more about not just finding the spot, but finding out how to GET to the spot. It's a simple concept, but I found it every engaging. (Unles you cheat and just look up an FAQ on it. Which basicly drains all the fun out of the game.)

it's easy if you use the nuke found in the horse's saddlebag.
