The "Hit 20 ducks win a free xbox" ad

Post by Rkolter »

Heh. There's a bug in it.

As you shoot the ducks, they speed up and go lower in the water. When you hit 20 a window opens to a new page where you can do the whole opt in thing and get spammed and whatnot.

But if you close that page, the original duck ad, with the lower, faster ducks is still there.

Play it again, and the ducks go lower and faster yet!

And again...
and again....

The ducks are now so low I can only see the tops of a few of their heads where the water dips low, and they flash by so fast that it's pure luck if I hit one.

Denial is not falsification. You can't avoid a fact just because you don't like it.

Oh, great.

And here I was reading "Shojo Beat" when I could've been doing something constructive like finding bugs in those banner ads.

I'll be in my room, re-evaluating my life.

There used to be a baseball one where you were a pitcher and you had to try to strike a guy out. At least once when I was unemployed two years ago I spent a half hour knocking the guy out throwing fastballs at his head.

...um, Animerica is still around. Why would they change it?
