I am so fucking NOT a girly girl.
I'm a tomboy if there ever was one. Gotta dress up for Ryan's cousin's wedding this afternoon.
When we get back from the ceremony, I'm going straight into slacks and a nice blouse. The hell with this skirt. Hey I was nice when I said I'll wear a skirt. If they don't like it what I'm wearing at the reception, they can bite me
Give me jeans, tees, flip flops any day!

I don't mind wearing dresses if it's for a reason, holiday or other sort of occasion, but I don't wear them just because.

I just don't know how to move in a dress. I keep tripping myself up the few times that I wear one. T_T

I am very confused.
Additionally, I avoid wearing skirts as much as possible.

I didn't think wearing pants made a girl a tomboy in 2005. There's maybe 1 girl here on campus in every 50 that's wearing a dress or skirt. The rest are in jeans and shorts.

Bah. The dudes like a girl who's comfortable with herself. And the ones who don't are jagoffs. Never do anything exclusively to please a dude.

We want them to know that.
It is the other things we don't want them to know.

I don't really consider myself a tomboy. As far as gender (which is culture dependant, not sex dependant) goes I'm fairly androgynous. I like some 'girly' things and 'boy' things. Skirts and dresses...I never liked to wear them growing up except for costume purposes. Mostly 'cause the ones we got were uncomfortable, ugly, and had seams that really hurt. It got to the point that one of my cousins made a jibe of mock surprise when I wore a dress for my grandpa's funeral. I still don't like to wear them often- again, mostly because I just keep tripping myself up rather than for some mindful reason. Stairs are especially hard.

Bah! Sometimes to get pleasure you have to give without thought to the possible return.
