A bit of a brag

Post by Dburkhead »

Or more than a bit.

Just got back from a trip to Japan where I got to spend some time with my son. (A long story, involving some post-partum issues my wife had after giving birth to our first, on why he's staying with his grandparents for the time being.)

Seeing the two of them together (son and daughter--daughter travelled with me on the trip) brought to mind just how adorable both of them are and gave me the following idea:

Don't take it personally, but I think all babies are hideous.
Yours don't seem more ugly than the garden variety, so that's a plus.

But do I want children? Well, to quote Alfred, "Nevah".

I love kids. I can't seem to finish one in a single sitting, though.

What about the possible invalid answers? Or the impossible valid answers?

What are those things? They look like tiny people, but unfinished. Their proportions are all wrong, and when I see them on the street they never seem to be able to move properly. What compels people to keep these things in their homes?

Hey dreams, that kid's pretty damned cute. I'd say quite possibly the cutest child I've ever seen in my life. EVER. People should send his parents money. Lots and lots of money.
